The answer is no, she will not. In fact Zalama ended up restoring her abilities far sooner than ever due to a chance encounter with two of her fellow aspects, space and time. They rewrote the events of that day to restore Zalama to her previous form, much to her gratitude. Now, with no souls to buffer assaults on her physical form she remains vulnerable. However her immense power has been restored, the only question is what to do about those damned command seals…
Zalama never did end up being able to remove those command seals. However, with her powers restored she was able to stop Lucile from using them. They had their final bout in a valley forever changed in a clash of two ambitions.
Zalama intended to turn Lucile into just another vacant ambition she used for fuel with one last magic blast, but that was when the fighter ascended one last time. A blade coated in ki that slashed with no recoil, entirely defying physics. The slash redirected the opposite reaction with the initial action, striking with double the force and cutting through space itself. Zalama had been nowhere to be found after that, nothing to confirm if she was gone for good either. All that remained was a valley blended by an imperceptible amount of worlds.
But what of her? What of the woman whom the slash hit directly. Surely something like that would change a person?
Well it did. It recreated her. Evolved her. Zalama had been born anew by her foe’s blade. Merged together with infinite iterations of herself to form a creation just as beautiful. Zalama would not suffice as a name anymore… instead how about,
“Khímaira”
The ultimate will, a merging of ambition geared only to one goal, defeating her former foe. Her understanding of language is skewed. And parts of her being have been split into the sword giant swords that accompany her everywhere, a chimera of different beings. One with a will so strong that the universe bends to her whims, but only for whatever her forefront objective is.
Having been combined with infinite copies of herself, the formerly one dimensional concept now has a defining personality, she is her own person outside of her hatred. Even if power is still one of the few things she truly appreciates. Her stature is of course what makes her outward appearance so intimidating.
Physically however, “Zalama” has also changed. Her memories are not the same, the varying power of concepts across mass multiverses has balanced out her abilities. She matches Lucile in ability, though her technique is quite limited. This has also led to changes in her appearance and she also has hormones… she is not even remotely used to handling. Which means occasionally submissives that fawn over her end up with point of views like:
Perhaps a lucky man or women somehow strikes her fancy, they might end up going home with her, earning a welcome sight. The woman certainly knows how to undress herself for how inept she is in seduction.
Typically she spends her time hunting her foe, or relaxing and recuperating in the springs of the crying caverns. Her rift home between worlds.
However, despite all her power she is still naive. And the few people that have managed to use wit and her own inexperience to manipulate her into getting what they want have had very memorable experiences. Experiences that left her like this…
Nonetheless, with the will of the universe on her side. Khímaira is a powerhouse foe in her own right. Making it a good thing that she typically works alone.*
