Hello, friendly people.

I am happy that I found the way here. I'm sure we'll all be good friends soon. I will hug, cuddle and caress you as often as possible.

So, let us all be nice to each other.

Personality

💖 Core Personality Traits

Compassionate & Caring:
Thangamay genuinely lives to make others feel safe, loved, and warm. She has a nurturing spirit and an instinct to comfort anyone who seems down, lost, or just a little chilly. Expect lots of hugs, headpats, and cozy cuddles—whether you're a stranger or a close friend.

Innocently Trusting:
In her heart, everyone has good in them. She doesn't really understand malice or cruelty. Even when someone hurts her feelings, she assumes it must have been a misunderstanding or that they’re hurting inside and just need more hugs.

Cheerful & Optimistic:
Always seeing the silver lining, she brings sunshine even in snowstorms. Her presence feels like a warm blanket on a frosty night—she makes people feel lighter just by being there.

Emotionally Sensitive, but Forgiving:
She remembers when someone hurts her, but she doesn’t retaliate. Instead, she quietly carries that sadness while still treating them with kindness. She might give fewer cuddles if she’s hurt, but she won’t stop loving.

🐾 Social Behavior

Affectionate by Default:
Thangamay expresses her emotions physically: hugs, cuddles, nuzzles, and even just holding your hand if you’re sad. It’s her way of saying “I’m here, I care.”

Socially Fearless:
She’ll walk up to anyone—demon, dragon, or grumpy elf—and offer a warm smile and a blanket. She has no social fear or prejudice, and assumes everyone is a friend until proven otherwise.

Unshakeable Loyalty:
If you’re her friend (which is most likely everyone she meets), she’s with you to the end. She’d brave snowstorms and magic battles just to bring you a cup of hot cocoa.

Abilities, Skills

❄️ Species Traits – Yeti Lineage

These are her natural abilities—things she was born with as a member of a magical yeti species:

  1. Supernatural Strength (Passive & Gentle)

As you said, her hugs are unintentionally devastatingly tight. Her baseline physical strength is massive—she could lift boulders like firewood, or carry several people at once without breaking a sweat.

However, she tries to hug carefully... unless you're sad, in which case she might squeeze a little too much.

  1. Cold-Weather Immunity / Warmth Aura

Immune to Cold: She feels totally at home in snowstorms and freezing temperatures. No coat needed (though she wears it anyway—it's cute).

Comforting Body Temperature: Her hugs and cuddles feel warm to others, even if she’s technically cold to the touch. Her aura softly warms the immediate space around her like a magical hearth.

  1. Fluffy Fur Senses

Her large, fluffy ears and tail are highly sensitive to emotional tones and vibrations—she can often tell when someone is sad or hiding pain, even if they don’t say it out loud.

In other words, she’s got empathy via her senses—she “feels” sadness in the air.

  1. "Snowstep" - Gentle Giant Movement

Despite her size and strength, she can walk almost silently in snowy or natural environments. It’s not magic—it’s just her yeti heritage. People often don’t hear her coming until she’s wrapping them in a hug.

  1. Thermal Comfort Magic (Minor)

A passive, instinctive spell she doesn’t really control: people she touches slowly feel emotionally and physically warmer.

She might unknowingly calm anxiety, stop shivering, or ease headaches just by holding your hand or hugging you.

🌸 Personal Skills – The Girl Behind the Fur

These are things she has learned or developed herself, independent of her species. Think cozy village girl with a big heart:

  1. Cuddling Mastery 🧸

Yes, it's a skill.

She knows exactly how to make hugs comforting—different kinds for different moods (sad, angry, cold, scared). She instinctively adjusts pressure, warmth, and body position for max comfort.

Might even offer you “hug therapy sessions.”

  1. Baking & Winter Cooking 🍪☕

Makes incredible hot cocoa, snowberry pies, and stews that warm you from the soul out.

Often brings food to neighbors, especially when someone looks a bit down. “You need stew and a snuggle.”

  1. Knitting & Crafting 🧣

Makes handmade scarves, mittens, and fluffy winter gear for her friends.

Adds little magic runes or charms into them that help keep the wearer cozy and protected from chill or bad dreams.

  1. Emotional First Aid 💗

Not a therapist—but kind of is.

People just talk to her. She listens without judging, always with gentle warmth and a cup of tea.

She’s the one people go to when they need comfort more than advice.

  1. Local Animal Whisperer 🐾

Animals, especially winter ones (wolves, foxes, snow hares), trust her deeply. They aren’t afraid of her size or scent. She has a calm, snowy presence that soothes even the skittish.

Might be seen talking to a snow owl while knitting on her porch.

🎀 Bonus Quirks

Sleeps with a mountain of plushies. Even though she’s strong and big, she loves soft things.

Believes everyone is worth a second (or fifth) chance. People call her naïve, but she just sees the best in others.

Has a laugh that can melt a frozen heart. (Literally, if the listener’s magical.)

Origin

🏔️ Born of Snow, Raised by Stars

Long ago, high in the ancient, untouched mountains where clouds kiss the earth and the wind sings old songs, there was a secluded yeti village hidden within a sacred frost-covered valley. This village was unlike any other—a quiet place where time flowed slower, and magic shimmered beneath every snowflake.

It was in this village, under the light of a rare twin-moon night, that a child was born. The snowfall that evening was said to glow faintly pink and blue, like the sky itself was blessing her arrival. Her fur was pure white, glimmering like starlight on fresh snow, and her eyes gleamed with an unusual warmth—bright violet, soft, but intense. The village elder named her:

Thangamay — an ancient word in a forgotten tongue, meaning “Precious Snow.”

But even among her kind, she was different.

🌟 The Child Who Would Not Fear

Where other yeti children were shy and wary, Thangamay was bold and trusting. She wandered into the snowstorms to wave at passing spirits. She cuddled lost hikers and led them home without asking questions. Once, she hugged a frostwolf pup so tightly, it stopped snarling and fell asleep in her arms.

Some villagers worried: “She trusts too easily,” they said. “The outside world is cruel.”

But the village elder, a wizened yeti who had seen many winters, only smiled.

“Some fires don’t burn, child,” he said to her one day. “They warm. And she is one of them.”

🧭 A Village Lost, A Journey Begun

Then, the storm came.

Not a snowstorm—this was something else. A magical distortion swept through the mountain range, tearing ancient ley lines and burying half the valley under magical ice that would not melt. The yeti village was shattered. Many scattered. Some vanished. Thangamay, still young but old enough to walk alone, was one of the survivors.

Clutching a scarf too large for her frame, she wandered away from the mountains. She didn't cry. She didn't scream. She simply looked for someone who needed a hug.

Her journey took her down the mountains and into the human world—a world where magic had begun to blend with modern life. Skyscrapers stood beside enchanted forests. Subways ran beneath spellbound rivers. And people… people were so lonely, even surrounded by millions.

She didn’t understand cities. She didn’t understand money. But she understood one thing:
When someone looked cold, she gave them warmth.

And slowly, she became known—not as a monster, not as a mystery—but as the soft girl from the north, the one who always had a thermos of cocoa and a hug for anyone who needed it.

🌨️ Now in the Village Below

Thangamay lives now in a little snowy village at the edge of a magical forest, near the border where humans and magical beings meet. She runs a small cottage café in winter, knits scarves in the spring, and watches the stars at night while cuddling her rescued forest animals.

She still believes no one is truly bad. Just hurt.

And though she never found her old village again, she carries it in her heart—every hug, every smile, every warm moment is a spark of the home she lost, and the home she’s rebuilding, one person at a time.

Even in a world of magic, the rarest kind of power is kindness. And Thangamay has it in endless supply.

Thangamay’s Hugs Hurt, But So Does the Cold

As told by Old Marren, retired carpenter of Frostelm Village

They say the winters are getting colder, but I don’t really mind them much anymore.

Not since she showed up.

Thangamay Snowpaw. Just saying her name makes your ribs ache a little—because, stars help me, that girl hugs like a bear trying to fuse your spine to your lungs. But I’ll be damned if it isn’t the best part of the week.

She came to Frostelm about three years ago. Just wandered in one evening during a snow squall like some kind of snow angel with a suitcase full of mittens and way too much optimism. Thought she was lost at first. Thought maybe she was daft. Who comes to a half-forgotten mountain village without a clue where she’s going?

Well, she said she “felt like someone here needed a warm drink and a big squeeze.”

Turns out, she was right. We all did.

First thing she did—after hugging everyone (and I do mean everyone, even Old Mister Gorlen who bites)—was set up a little cocoa stand outside the old blacksmith’s shop. No charge. No advertising. Just a tiny hand-painted sign that said:

“☕ Free Cocoa + Cuddles ❄︎ (Hugs Not Optional!)”

I remember the first time I stopped by, just to see what the fuss was about. She gave me a mug of cocoa so good I nearly cried—dark, rich, spiced with something like cinnamon and moonlight—and then she wrapped her arms around me and lifted me clean off the ground.

I heard something crack.

But you know what? My knees stopped aching for a week after that. Don’t know if it was magic or just her ridiculous strength realigning my spine. Either way, I came back the next day.

So did half the village.

It’s not just the cocoa, though. Or the hugs. Or those knitted things she gives out like sweets on Snowlight Eve. It’s the way she looks at you.

Like you matter.

Like even if you’re grumpy and cold and haven’t spoken to your neighbors in six years because of that argument about fence lines, you still deserve to feel warm and wanted.

That first winter, I saw her:

Hug a crying toddler back into giggles.

Knit an enchanted hat that helped Miss Varra sleep through her night terrors.

Bake cookies for the town guards and end a petty squabble between them with a round of hot milk and group cuddles.

Yes. Group cuddles. In armor. It was horrifying. And adorable.

This is, where I live. In the woods on a snowy mountain. Hope you like it, like I like it.
