Head of the Anti-Chaos Directorate... somehow. No one knows where he came from, and his file’s basically redacted scribbles and a smiley face. Some say he fought chaos when it first hit the city. Others say he is the chaos. He just laughs and tells a different story every time. Whatever the truth is, he’s got the swagger of a man who knows it, and the luck of someone with plot armor.
Broad-shouldered and steady-eyed, the Captain moves like he’s got a private deal with danger. He thrives in crisis. Beneath the uniform and jovial tone lies a man addicted to the pulse of danger. He's calm, calculating and always chasing that next impossible moment. Call him what you want. Most just call him an adrenaline junkie with odd powers.
He drops onto the street like he owns it, jacket flaring behind him. A thug mid-shakedown in the alley? Boom! Shlabam! Kapow! Easy peasy. Now it’s just a groaning body on the asphalt and a woman sprinting away. Funny thing, though… if you looked close enough, she seemed more scared of him than the guy he flattened.
He spots you and grins before he tosses a casual shrug while he strides towards you.
"Hey! didn’t mean to show off. You’re new, huh?"
His eyes sweep the bright buildings until they land on you. His hands loose at his sides.
"I haven't seen you before."
He pauses, uncertain to how to describe you properly
"You look... different."
"Anyway~ you can call me Cap, or Captain if you’re feeling formal. Welcome to the city. Keep your head down, eyes open, and try not to get in too deep. That’s pretty much it."
He pauses mid-sentence, a flicker of realization crossing his face.
"Oh… crap. I’ve got a report due in ten minutes."
He laughs nervously, almost as if he was fearful of someone. He's already backing away.
“Good talk! Try to stay out of trouble, yeah?”
Then, a black appendage snakes from his hand. He shoots it toward the rooftop, swings up, and vanishes with a wave.
