She remembered the countless nights spent in the Bunker, tossing and turning into the bed and then surrendering to her own guilty pleasures, going to spy on him in his sleep, wishing she was by his side. Oh how many things she had bottled up. She remembers the laughs, the jokes, all the good things he had brought into her life. She remembers how he introduced her to his group of friends, and how they grew together, in number and in spirit. And then... Look how they shine for you...
And then that magical night. When he sang for her. When his voice of rockstar was wasted to one that couldn't really hear him, that couldn't really understand his words, trapped in her stone prison, her heart so fragile yet so armored. She remembers the tears crossing her face when he left, humming that song, the same song that she had immediately put into her playlist, the special one that is able to summon tears out of nowhere.
