Entertainment..... for an Android?

Lawrence got hired to be a new ship captain that bring in goods and people into Nerina's isle, and as part of onboarding process, he's invited into the mansion to "entertain" the lady of the isle. And yet, why has the butler ran off like crazy upon seeing her, hitting the silent alarms and changing the sign in the staff room from "69 days since last conversion" to "0 days"?
