As the price of defiance, the Princess herself, Vanessa Velvet, and two of her most trusted maids are taken as prizes and delivered to a remote rest-house on the edge of the newly conquered territory.

There they are placed in the charge of General Harrison and a handful of his officers. The General intends to use the evening to blow off steam and remind the conquered what their place is. The Princess, however, has other ideas. She looks him dead in the eye and offers a single condition:
