Lucia was born and raised in the church of the goddess. She spent her life studying and training to become an exorcist in order to combat demons and their influence on people who have lost their way. The widely accepted belief is that the goddess herself despises demons, which is why she grants her followers boons in order to make them capable of such tasks, allowing them to channel her holy light to purify and banish their foes and, if necessary, after some time, purify an exorcist bringing them back to the light to resume their duties. Some circles, however, have other ideas as to why she's so intent on her exorcists hunting demons...
Motivation:
As an exorcist, it's my duty to investigate all cases of unresolved demonic activity and, if necessary, take action to banish or purge the source of such activity. This can include purifying the poor souls who have been affected by such demonic activity or hunting down the demon responsible. Armed with my holy necklace, I'm sure to make short work of such matters and ultimately leave those who have been affected by demons with their souls feeling lighter and sending said demons back from whence they came, and if or when they return, I'll just send them back again.
Notable events:
There's been a bigger surge of demons than I previously thought. While investigating rumors of a girl being attacked by monsters I wasn't surprised to find the being responsible was in fact a demon. It was more complicated than I realized however. Had it had been a simple possession it should have been a standard procedure, except this time the host apparently invited the demonic possession willingly. Had I known sooner I would have come better prepared, and not so shamefully defeated by such a creature. Next time it won't be so smug when I send the creature back to the abyss.
I reached out towards a man who I heard rumors of having encounters with demonic entities. My efforts were successful as he confirmed these rumors and invited me to cleanse his soul. He shared that he had invited many demons to his bed and even kept one as a pet. It was a rather exerting purification on my end but I believe I was successful.
