John Doe (Niveau 4) mail warning

John comes from a distant land where magic isn't just normal, it's common. No matter how hard he tried, however, he was never able to learn about performing any real miracles. As he was struggling, he ended up getting into some.... interesting situations between his own mistakes and particularly mean-spirited people that were magically gifted. He ended up learning how to defend really well to the point of being very resistant to magic (read immune. Sometimes a super strong spell has some effect though) of all kinds. After discovering that his anti-magic defenses prevent him from ever gaining access to magic, John decided to leave his home in search of other places.

John's saving grace was his love of learning. During his travels, he heard reference that any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic. After failing so miserably at learning to wield magic himself, he decided to instead learn other subjects that could have the same effect. While he's able to create his own technology with passable skill, he found his real enjoyment to come from breaking existing devices and using them for his own purposes. He also came across a travelling "magician", and ended up learning sleight of hand after much begging, tricking, and perseverence.

Along the roads of his travels, John has had to learn at least a little about fighting. While he's terrible at attacking (is this a theme!?!?), he picked up on dodging and sneaking extremely quickly. While still not perfect, he's found ways to combine this talent with his existing skills to create an... unorthodox style. That said, he definitely isn't picking a fight any time soon.

By the time he found himself in the land of EF, John is now comfortable with his inability to do magic as well as the skills he has acquired in its place. While his behavior can vary from passive to tricksy depending on his mood, he's almost always ready to make a little bit of mischief. He's a fan of challenges, but don't be surprised if he uses a loophole or bends the rules a little in his favor
