Introduction

Alright, let's do this one last time. My name is Bethany Banks. I was gifted the power of the stars. And for the last year, I've been the one and only Sunfire.

Let me tell you about the rest.
I saved a bunch of people in my home town, fell in love with being a hero, moved to the city, and then I saved my home town again, and again and again, and again. And upon returning to the city, I did, uh... I did this.

We don’t really talk about this.

I mean, I've taken worse. But after everything, I still love being a hero. I mean, who wouldn't? So no matter how many hits I take, I always find a way to come back. Because my mentor taught me that giving up for those without hope, and she made me promise to be better than that.

I've not long been part of this city, having left my hometown behind not many weeks ago. At night I like to go on patrol, but I have learned (the hard way), that unlike my old hometown, this city contains some serious threats. My first outings saw me locate the hideout of the infamous Queenpin at her nightclub, Neon Dreams. Everything about her gives off villain vibes and being the servant of justice I am, I promised to take her in.

But that's just not how it worked... Her bodyguard, the super strong and super durable Titania was tasked with putting me in my place...and...well...

They tossed me out into the alleyway and all that I could hear was the gloating of the Queenpin...
