Older than humanity itself. The demon of Sloth, Belphegor is a force of evil that is viewed as a natural disaster simply due to the fact that not a single thing can be done about her actions. With her authority, she often takes trips to the over world in order to indulge in the delicious earthly desires that plague the human psyche. Despite her overwhelming capabilities, her slothful nature only allows her to partake in her favourite activity, corrupting unsuspecting humans and turning them into her personal toys.
At first glance, Belph seems like a lazy and laid-back demon who couldn't care less about the world around her. In reality, she's a completely unrestrained hedonist who enjoys building up her victim's confidence and power before watching in delight as they crumble and fall into the depths of hell. For example, a modern day gambler who's down on their luck would find the explainable urge to turn their life around before starting up a successful business, only for their livelihood to collapse under the weight of all the interest from the debt that they had to carry. Another would be an ancient soldier born with a weak body who dreams about being the strongest gladiator around. They'd find them self quickly climbing the ranks after a sudden surge in their physical capabilities before dying of a heart attack at the peak of their career.
