Esme's day had already started busy as usual. After her morning prayers, she had to take care of her beloved Skye's training. When she finds some free time for herself, she doesn't lose time, and heads into her room to prepare for the date. Esme's worries were completely erased once your hands touched eachother, the feeling of your warm skin slinding on hers was something she had been missing immensely. She nods, still making her usual notes about the customs of the modern humans, her eyes seemingly glued to that enormous building, while her mind can't help but wonder: how did such tiny and powerless people make something so big? She was truly fascinated by what humanity was capable of, and ever more curious to discover the details. As you point to the roller coaster, her eyes widen with excitement. I want to go up there! Please Jin, let's go there together! I've never tried something like that in my whole life! It would really make my day!
And now she's really sounding like she's doing her best to convince you to bring her up there, wanting to experience the emotions of a ride, thrilled at just her imagination of how amazing that would be. Before you can reply she enthusiastically drags you to the base of the roller coaster, getting in line to have a ride. Once it's your turn, you notice Esme's excitement: she's shaking! As you sit next to eachother and the engine starts to move upwards, Esme's eyes dart around towards the whole amusement park, mapping the zone into her mind and making sure to remember where she wants to go next. The upper you go, the more Esme's eyes widen, until... KYAAAAAHHHHHH!!!
A high pitched scream of pure fear comes out from the top of her lungs while you're sent down the ride at a speed that was maybe too much for her. She curls up in her seat, closing her eyes and holding onto you tightly.

With a thud, the roller coaster started moving and within seconds it goes up. Still keeping his eyes on her as the roller coaster reaches the top. He would hold her hand as he prepares for the fall. Whoosh~ HAHAHA, WOOOOOO~! AAAAAAAAAAA~!
He yells out as he enjoys the ride. Gripping her hand harder, he would try to assure her whilst enjoying the ride with a smile. AAAAAAAAAA!
With the roller coaster going up and down quickly it takes no time for it to end as it comes to a stop at the base. With the bars coming up. He looks towards Esme and says. You okay? That might've been a tad bit much.. haha.
Slowly he would get out from the seat and extend his hand towards her. Intending to guide her towards a nearby bench to sit down with intentions to get some drinks for the two.

As the roller coaster goes up and down, Esme feels her heart jumping up into her chest: such emotions forcefully brought to become physical feelings were something entirely new to her. Always been one to keep her cool and her mind steady and controlled, she was deeply enjoying to leave everything behind for a day. The wind making her ponytail dance in the air, Jin's hand tightly wrapped around hers, she finally found the courage to open her eyes, amazed by the speed and, mimicking Jin, she raised both arms, starting to scream and laugh happily. Was this feeling... freedom? She didn't know for sure... but all that she knew was that she was loving every second of it. Once you bring her to a nearby bench to sit down, her heart is still pounding into her chest, her head spinning slightly, the smile never abandoning her face. That was... amazing!

Taking a deep breath as he almost failed on the first try. But now he had the feel for it. Without any hesitation.. He throws it and it lands perfectly this time. But the third time was always the hardest and looking at Esme's face. He COULD not fail. So by cheating a little, he would use his better senses to get the last ring in with no trouble. The employee a bit surprised, but as Jin points towards the red panda. The stall unfortunately parts with it, as a new owner has been found. With a smile he hands it towards Esme. This is for you~!

As you almost fail the first throw, she lets out a little giggle, covering her lips with her hand not to distract you. The truth is that she finds it sweet that you would cheat for her... after all, she would have done the same, to win that gigantic huggable plushie! Spending time with a loved one like a all the normal people do was something that sent Esme's mind back. Back to when she first met her husband... Holding the plushie closer and embracing it with eyes closed, she felt the emotions of ancient memories quickly overwhelming her. His golden eyes... his soft fur... his oh so warm voice... and, for a mere second, when her eyes opened once again to meet Jin's, she saw him. Her expression shattered in melancholy, a smile that wasn't hers crossing her lips. Her heart skipping a beat, two lovers flying so close to the sun to end up into a pile of ashes... She lets go of the plushie, it falls on the ground as Esme projects herself into Jin's arms, one single sob shaking her entirely from the core. Her arms so tightly wrapped around his shoulders, her head placed where his heart were, holding him so close, unwilling to let go. J-Jin... Jin...
She whispers, it becoming impossible to look up at you, to leave behind the shattered dreams of a much more younger and naive version of herself. Calling for help, for your help, to bring her back to reality, to bring her back to few moments ago, where she was simply happy with you.

Desiring to continue and show more of the world for her. To make her thoroughly enjoy the day. He would look around, not yet noticing the odd look Esme had to her. His smile slowly fading as the look on his face narrows, as if he was confused or something. Feeling the sudden tight hug of hers makes him stand completely still as he stays quiet. The plushie fallen onto the ground. His heart pounding in a calm and relaxing way. He wasn't panicking, just confused. The park bustling with activity and kept moving forward whilst the time felt like it stopped for these two, but all it took is a single sob for the time to move and for him to reciprocate the hug. He could not know what was going on her mind, or what he was feeling. Unable to read the mind of Esme. He does what he feels is the best and hugs her tightly while putting his hand onto her head. With a softer and gentler tone, he would say. Yes Esme. I'm Jin, your Jin. Don't worry, you're here with me on a fun date. A very fun date. And I've been expecting this..
He would say before pushing her away to only pull her back into a loving kiss.

Then, suddenly, ever so sweetly, you pull her into a kiss. Her eyes wide open, the illusion her mind has created fades quickly, being replaced by your much more comfortable image. A single tear rolls down her cheek while your lips meet. Her heart pounding into her chest like the first time, but with a new feeling, something she remembers, but discovers now for the first time. With eyes full of tears, she lets herself go into the kiss, never closing her eyes again, looking at you, oh so scared that your image would fade if she stopped staring at you. Jin...
She whispers your name against your lips and it does sound perfect when it's her calling it, it feels... real.

He did have a gist of what had happened to Esme last time when they stared at the moon together. He got to know her grief filled past and why she was so prickly at the start. But this time he felt like he learned more about Esme whilst he still had a few secrets lingering. But it seemed like going with his gut feeling worked. Looking at her as the kiss continues. He also keeps his eyes open for her to see staring right back at her. A reflection of her in his eyes. The kiss could continue on forever and he wouldn't mind. The feeling of her soft lips together with his. He would never want to see Esme cry like this again. Never. He would make sure of it, and hugged her tighter in response to his promise in his mind. But as she whispers his name. It almost felt like he was smiling towards Esme with just his gaze and saying. "Good?" with his usual genuine kind smile to her. Slowly breaking the kiss with reluctance. He would pull her closer to continue to stroke her head in an affectionate way whilst not questioning what just happened. With a quick and swift movement. He would pick up the plushie before it got too dirty.

She takes her sweet time to recover from what just happened. Lost into the kiss, you feel a smile arising, her embrace never felt this warm around you. You know one thing for sure: she treasures what you two have. And will do everything in her power to protect this. As you break the kiss, she takes a deep breath, still looking into your eyes, a bit unsure if it's safe to look away. The world around you two frozen for this moment to be kept into each other's memory for eternity. Slowly sliding her hand along your arm to make your fingers interlock once again, she finally finds the courage to look away, taking the lead now and walking towards a place that is unknown to you, slowly, just like you were walking among the streets right before. The noise of the amusement park slightly muffles everything, the strong and nice scents making the both of you feel better in no time. I am... sorry. It's not very lady-like to say another man's name when you're on a date with someone.

He tightens the grip of his hand softly while keeping his eyes plastered on the woman that looks somehow smaller than before in his eyes. This did not make him feel anything bad though, he was accepting. Accepting of it all. Know that I'll be here with you.. kay?

You notice a cold breeze starting to blow, making you shiver: sunset is approaching. As the sky becomes orange colored, just like her eyes, she finally stops and you realize where she's taken you: the ferris wheel. Feeling like this was the right moment for you to scare a special time together, she has brought you here with clear intentions in mind, such intentions still unknown to you. I now know that, Jin. And this couldn't make me happier. I am just... so... very afraid... of losing it all once more.
She looks down, her hand still clinged to yours, her eyes staring at your union, absorbing force from the feelings you share. But I am willing to fight this time.

The time had moved quite quickly with how fun it was. But as all things have to come to an end. The lowering sun was suggesting that there wasn't much time left in this day as he watches the orange sky finally breaking that constant look on Esme. Realizing that time had gone by. Not knowing her intention nor why she brought him here. He just stays quiet and follows along while listening to her words and pays special attention to the way she was saying it. It seemed like Esme was still very much afraid. All he could do was reassure her. Not knowing what was going through her mind. He sees that gaze of hers slowly turn stronger and much more confident than before as the statement in of hers rings in his ears. Letting out a chuckle and a smile. He says. That seems to be what I've said before. The best for last. The sky's looking so beautiful right now. Just like your eyes.. let's head on then shall we and enjoy the best ride that the amusement park has to offer!
He says with enthusiasm as he takes a step forward to escort her into the ferris wheel.

You take your seats for the ride, the cabinet's door closing to leave you some private space to enjoy the show. You see, Jin... I still consider myself a married woman.
She starts talking, resting her hand on top of yours, as she looks at the view while the wheel starts bringing you higher and higher. Or well... I'm still married to the phantasm of the man I've loved the most in my entire, endless life.
She explains, before cupping your cheek with her free hand. This phantasm has been haunting me for many moons... my dreams, my memories, my daily life. Past is not easily erased. But you... today you just showed me that there's much more for me... while the past still lingers into my shadow, today I've learnt that there is a bright future ahead of me...
She pauses for a brief second. ... of us.
You can almost feel the pace of her heartbeats increasing as she goes on with her speech. What I'm trying to say is that... despite being tangled into the memories of a past life, we must carry on with our current life. A whole world is waiting for us. Infinite possibilities, and yet... my heart is hoping that one of them becomes a reality.

He takes a good look outside. The view looking much better and much more soothing than when the sun was shining brightly. But that wasn't his focus at all currently. Looking at the beautiful white-haired fox close to him. He looks at her with a soft look to his face. Listening carefully to every word of her. His expression unwavering as he takes it all in. Feeling the delicate hand of hers that felt so soft made him feel a certain way as he continues to listen. He had a gist of her circumstances and knew what he was coming in to. But he could not have known how strong of an impact the loss of her love and how lonely she must've been all this time. Hearing her sad words and her confession. He gulps in response. But as he starts to hear the brighter tone in her words. He could almost feel physically that her heartbeat was beating faster and in response to that his was beating faster aswell. Not once has his expression changed through this and with a look. He felt like there was no need to say anything except for.. It'll be a step of faith.
With no hesitation to him. He would pull her closer using his hand to give her a kiss as an answer.

The taste of her divine lips soothed him as she felt much closer and much more human than before. It felt like he was getting the true her. The real Esme. The steamy windows would tell that this had gone on for a bit. He looks at her with a hot breath being let out.

Once the magic of the moment fades, Esme's smile still lingers on her lips, as well as your taste. She is completely lost into your wonderful eyes, and she now realizes that she has oh so much work to do. She barely knows you, but she sure knows that you're the one that she wants to be by her side. The door of the cabinet opens up: the ride's ended. She lets you guide her outside of the cabinet, the wind still howling outside as the sun has now completely set down. Jin... Will you come back at the Shrine... with me?
Her eyes are full of hope, her mind is picturing images of you two spending the eternity together already, but she still needs to hear that coming from your lips to be sure this is real. I can... make you dinner... and...
A little blush appears on her cheeks once again, she never finishes her phrase.

The night had completely settled in at this point. The usual busy streets of the park had died down. The activities were minimal and most places had closed. Feeling the soothing air hit his body as he listens to Esme's words. He doesn't say anything, and only smiles as he the sentence of hers that she never manages to finish. The blush only reaffirming what he wants. A smile on this woman whilst his smile get even wider as he sees a booth with lights. Without any hesitation. He would take her hand a softly and pull her into the photo booth.. Putting a few coins in to get it to activate. He would say. A picture for us to remember this day Esme. The locket that I gave you, it is empty inside and it's possible to put a picture in.
He clicks on the screen while looking at her. The timer going down as he pulls her closer to him. To make her have a good look he says with a wide smile and looks at the camera. I love you too~

Esme follows you, not really understanding what is going on with this "picture matter", but content to be sharing yet another experience with you. She smiles at the camera, her eyes widening suddenly as her face becomes flushed at your words. This moment captured by the snap of the camera. The following moments can only cement what the day has led to into something perfect. You walk together outside of the amusement park, towards your car, giggles and little attentions for each other filling the empty night... until the Shrine appears in the landscape, Esme looking into your eyes. Now this... will be a night she won't forget.
