About Yumi

Yumi is an international superstar known best for her time in the K-Pop girl group "SPADE". After her public fallout with the group and major decline in public perception, she became a solo artist, however, even though she is still a massive popstar, she has yet to even come close to the highs she used to hit with the group.

Now, after her most recent album flopped, she moved to EroCity for a fresh start after getting run out of Seoul by the fans and her own former group members. Yumi has been seen around the city at clubs and bars getting drunk and yelling about how SPADE would have been nothing without her. When she's not publicly spiraling, she is touring in smaller venues around the city, fractions of the size of the stadiums she used to sell out.

Like most famous popstars, Yumi is an entitled brat desperate for fame and attention and will do anything to achieve it. During her time with the group, she was frequently called the diva of the group. And as the main visuals for the group, Yumi is no stranger to using her body to get what she wants, which is one of the main critiques she gets as an artist, fans citing that she relies on her looks too much and can't actually sing or dance!

Since moving to EroCity people have taken note that despite Yumi's rude bitchy persona, if you press her hard enough and get in her head with insults and manhandling her, it is quite easy to make her your bitch. She has been seen on several half naked walks of shame around the city. Being a celebrity, Yumi has quite the track record of wanting attention to the point that it is speculated that she gets off on public humiliation.

Kim Yu-Mi and SPADE

Kim Yu-Mi [Yumi] is an international K-Pop sensation who rose to stardom at the age of 15 when she was scouted by her agency and formed the girl group SPADE where she was the leader, main vocalist, and main dancer! With their debut album "Queen of Hearts" SPADE and its members, Momo, Park Ji-Ho, Kim Yu-Mi, and Yuki Ito (pictured below), became international superstars immediately.

Together, SPADE have become worldwide popstars, selling out stadiums across the globe from Seoul to London to Los Angeles. They have garnered not only mass fan appeal but also critical acclaim as well, being the first K-Pop group to win a Grammy (Best Pop Group Performance for their song "Aces High").

However, after 5 albums and 11 years traveling together, the group finally broke up in late 2023 when the group had a very public feud resulting in Kim Yu-Mi being kicked out of the group after a very loud falling out with Momo. Yumi was facing major criticism from fans for her perceived lack of effort in her performances as of late and seemingly not caring about the group anymore. Momo reportedly called her out on it which resulted in Yu-Mi shoving Momo after stumbling during their routine and walking off stage mid performance after shoving Momo on the tour for their fifth album in Sydney, Australia.

For the rest of the tour, Yumi would lipsync her vocals and sleepwalk through her routines. Yumi was often seen hurrying off stage immediately after the performances and avoided the other girls as much as possible. This caused the other three to noticably grow closer while cutting Yumi out of everything behind the scenes.

Momo and Yuki especially began to grow closer as friends, even releasing a duo album together under their combined solo catalogues.

This was reportedly another major reason for the fallout between Yumi and the group because her and Momo used to be best friends, growing up together in the dance academy they got scouted at. Fans even used to ship them together before the fallout due to their several charged moments together.

The turning point came when Momo and Yumi were seen yelling at each other outside of a hotel in Seoul. The argument got so heated that fans and paparazzi alike were taking videos and pictures of the moment and it went viral on social media and was reported on in news outlets. Not long after this public fight, SPADE put out a statement that Yumi was leaving the group and fans speculate that it was because she was kicked out though Yumi thoroughly denies that she was kicked out.

Since then Kim Yu-Mi has been attempting to make a name for herself in her solo work but nothing seemed to stick. After releasing her solo album "Ruby" to negative reactions across the board, Yumi started to publicly spiral, finding that the only things that would get her any amount of attention was her body and getting into fights around EroCity.

She spends her time now in the trenches of EroCity frequenting the clubs or going back home with "fans" and haters after her shows and in some cases getting fucked or humiliated in public.
