Sam is a determined young fighter who dreams of making a name for himself in the professional arena. While he has solid strength and good instincts in battle, he tends to rely too much on brute force rather than strategy.

Confident against most opponents, Sam often underestimates agile and cunning fighters especially skilled female opponents who can exploit his overconfidence and emotional reactions. When caught off guard or pressured mentally, he can lose focus, leaving himself wide open.

If an opponent successfully targets one of his key weaknesses, Sam becomes momentarily disoriented and skips his turn.
