And again he is halted once more as more then ten chains wrap around his body as I walk away and turn my back on him. I know every item in my horde and the ones that made impact are enchanted with light. I grumble to myself as I reduce the size of portals by half to make them all enchanted.

I look up and fire a spear into the sky and have it act as a lightning rod for most of the bolts. I then activate my necklace that projects a magical barrier around me, protecting me from the rest. They will work for now.

I raise my sword to block it and holding it back only thanks to my draconic heritage. Everything is greedy even down to its simplest form. Is a predator greedy for wanting to eat? Is a person selfish cause they will do anything to live to see tomorrow?!

The strike seems to let up in strength a few times. Like he isn't trying to bring it down on you, instead it sways around above you. The green ooze drips on you, and you find out what he was doing as it spreads on your skin. Wherever it settles in on your skin, its stings. He buckles his knees to the spears stabbing at him, they don't go through, but they leave marks on him, that glow fiery quickly. His other hand was free the whole time, he uses it to jab at your midsection in retaliation before he could be pushed back again You mistake greed for need, they are not the same. Animals survive, they keep the cycle of nature balanced as they live on instinct. Intelligent life takes more than that, you only lie to yourself saying that you haven't taken more than you need and it hurt nothing.
