Welcome to The Emporium! Jamie's first visit.

[It is currently midday, Jamie has traveled for a few days, arriving at a calm and quiet forest, following the instructions in Hana's invitation letter, he eventually arrives at a fancy looking house. A sign at the front reads "Welcome to The Emporium! We have all sorts of magical items and potions, come in to find out!"]

Jamie looks at the instuctions on the invitation letter again, scratching his temple Seems like I arrived! It looks like a really cozy place... Jamie notices the sign at the front mhm... Seems like I am right He giggles to himself quietly, before he knocks on the door and opens it a little, taking a peek inside H-hello...? Hana...? Here's Jamie... may I enter..?

[A bell rings as you open the door, revealing the interior of the shop to you. Upon entering, you are overwhelmed by all sorts of magical items and potions. They are placed all around the shop, the potions coming in all shapes and sizes, along with different colours. You also notice a variety of magical items, from gloves to wands and even a strange floating magical dice. You find yourself lost in thought as you examine the products, before the sound of footsteps bring you back to reality.]

-Upon looking up, you notice Hana in her usual outfit. She gives you a smile and waves- Jamie! You made it! -She noticed you had been looking around the shop, and gives you a proud look, puffing her chest out- So, what do you think? It's an amazing shop, isn't it? Hehe... -She smiles and giggles to herself-

Jamie looks around the shop in awe, his face shining brightly from all the magical items and potions inside. His heart starting to beat faster the longer he looks around, before he jumps up a little hearing the footsteps, returning back to reality mhm~ It is a really wonderful place, my curiousity took the better of me and I couldn't resist looking around... S-Sorry.. he scratches the back of his head with a embarrassed chuckle

It's fine! Feel free to look around as long as you like, it's a shop after all! -She gives you a warm smile- Is there any item here that catches your eye? I'll give you a small discount!

Jamie scratches his temple with one finger, as he thinks for a second before raising his finger with an excited face Yes! I could be potentially interested in a staff, maybe some magical books... and these floating magical dices also caught my attention!

Hmm.. A staff? You're not using one right now? AS for books... Well I don't sell any books, but I have a library upstairs, you could have a look later if you'd like! -She walks over and picks up the magical dice- Oh, these dices... Well, to be honest with you, it's mostly a cosmetic item, if you imbue just a little mana in them, they'll start floating, and you can even make them spin! -She let's go of the dice. It starts levitating a few centimeters above her hand, before starting to slowly spin in place-

Jamie shakes his head no, I haven't used a staff yet, but I heard it can make the magic more powerful, so I wanted to try it and I would love to see your library later! His eyes wander to the dices as Hana picks them up, looking at them in fascination as they levitating and spin in place hmm.. I see, but an interesting kind of cosmetic.

-She grabs the dice and places it back onto the table- Hmm... Well, you're right about that, but it also depends on the wielder as well as the staff. Would you like to demonstrate some of your magic to me? Maybe I could make a staff suited to your needs!

mhm~! I would love to! he looks around the shop a little worried Do you want me to do it in here..?

Of course not, silly. -She walks behind the counter, taking a small briefcase with her, before walking over to you. She pulls your hand, leading you out of the shop. She leads you around the forest for a few minutes, before you arrive at a warm open field, the sun shining upon the both of you brightly- Hmm.... I think this is a good place! -She sets the briefcase down, opening it and revealing a small wand. It is made out of silver, shining brightly under the sunlight. At the top of the wand, a medium sized blue coloured crystal is attached to it. She hands you the wand- Go on, give it a try!

He follows you without hesitation as you pull his hand, taking a look around the forest before the two arrive at the open field. He stares at you opening the briefcase before his face lights up seeing the wand and he takes it and bows Thank you! Jamie waves the wand around a little before his face gets serious and he starts to concentrate. A breeze waves past him as his mana starts to flow into the staff, a bright spark appearing at the blue crystal, that slowly transforms into a fireball of a relatively big size Wow! The fireball is way bigger than usually! He fires the fireball into the air and it flies up into the sky before making a big explosion

-She gives you a smile, watching you wield the staff valiantly- Well done! But, my wands come with a special feature, let me show you! -She takes the wand from you, holding it with both hands, with the crystal facing away from her- Watch this.... Mana blade, activate! -You feel a huge amount of magical energy quickly being absorbed into the crystal, shining brightly. In the next second, a blade is formed from the crystal, radiating with blue light. Hana wields the wand like a sword, using both hands, she swings the wand horizontally, firing off a wave of blue light towards a nearby tree, completely cutting it in half-

Jamie stares with eyes and mouth wide open as you show off the blade of the staff. His face gets even more excited as he see's you fire off a the wave of blue light That. Is. Amazing.... I have something similar... But yours is definitely cooler! Jamie flings his arms around and small lightning blades appear out of his wrist and he holds it towards you, showing the blades

From your wrist? -She looks closely at your hands, before making blade dissipate- Well, it might be cool, but it uses a huge amount of mana, making it very difficult to maintain it's form. But I'm currently working on a wand that will hopefully make it easier... Maybe you could even dual wield it in the future, it's lighter than a sword and can even cut through armor! -She returns the wand back to the briefcase- How was the wand? Did you like using it?

Cut.. through armor... Wow..! he stares in disbelief at the wand before he nods in excitement Yes! it felt fantastic... It felt like... I had to use way less mana to get this amount of power!

That's good to hear... -She nods to herself- You see, I'm currently studying the crystal that is attached to this wand, a friend of mine gave me a bunch of them, saying that apparently it came from a meteorite that fell onto Earth... I've been studying them for awhile now, and from what I know.. It's very good at amplifying magical energy, and for some reason, the wand is stronger when there's a full moon, although I have no idea why... Maybe you might know something about it?

Jamie puts holds his chin as he tries to find something from his memory hmm... meteorite taht fell into eart... amplifying magical energy.... stronger during full moon.... He shakes his head Sadly I don't know anything about that, sorry. But if there is anything I can do to help with your studies... I'll gladly help!

-She pats your back- Well, don't stress over it, there's plenty of time for us to experiment! Well then, should we head back? It's getting late now...

Jamie looks around this open field once again, taking a deep breath and turns back to you with a smile Yeah, lets head back!

Very well then! I assume you'll be staying with me for awhile to help out? -She gives you wink-

Uhmm... yes... It was quite a long travel, so I'd appreciate if I could stay for a while and I'd love to help you out! he giggles

I'll be happy to have you around! Also, I have something nice for you! Let us head back to the shop first! -She gives you another smile before leading you back to the shop, when you return, she heads upstairs, where she leads you to a guest room- Here, this is where you'll be sleeping, there's a bed, and a table, the toilet is at the end of the corridor. Wait here first, I have something to give you! -She waltzes away, leaving you to yourself. The room is very neat, almost as if nobody has used this room before. After a few minutes, Hana returns, holding something in her hands, at first you see nothing, but when she brings it closer to you, it appears to be a translucent cloak that's barely noticeable- Well, here's a gift for you, my assistant! -She smiles- This is a magical cloak, it's very light, and you can just put it around your body, nobody would even notice it, and the moment you cover your head with the hood, you'll become invisible, and all noise you make will be concealed. You can even bypass most magical detectors with this! Go on, give it a try! -She excitedly hands the cloak over to you-

Jamie waits patiently for you to return, he sits down on the bed, taking a calm look around the room, before his attention turns to you returning. He stares confused into your hands, noticing there is nothing until you get closer. His ears perk up as he hears it's a magical cloak A-are you sure..? It seems to be quite a big gift.. T-Thank you! Jamie takes the cloak with a nod and a bright smile, before putting it over himself D-Does it work... am I invisible now..?

Don't sweat it! It was a magical artifact that I made while I was still in the academy as one of my projects. It was fun using it to play pranks on my professors... -She smiles as she gets nostalgic, remembering something funny, before turning to look to you as you put on the hood- Hmm well, I think you're invisible, but I have the myst- Ahem. -She clears her throat- Well, I can still see you, but you should be invisible to most people right now, also, you should still be able to look at yourself, but if you look at the mirror over there, you should be invisible.

Jamie walks over to the mirror to inspect himself, noticing that he can't see himself. He starts moving in front of the mirror, just to make sure mhm! It works! He pulls his head over the cloak again and jumps up at the sight of his flying head in the mirror Aaah! ....Oh.. right.. his cheeks turn red from the embarrassment and he looks away

-As you pull the hood off, your body slowly starts to come into view, Hana walks over to you and laughs- Well, it was a school project after all, so it isn't perfect. The invisibility effect only activates when you wear the hood, meaning you can wear the cloak normally without the hood, and your whole body will be visible, but after wearing the hood, the invisible effect should activate. Do note that it will keep consuming magical energy when it's activated, so try not to use it for too long or you'll get mana exhaustion. So, what do you think? Do you like it?

This is quite impressive for a school project I would say... and I keep it in mind to not wear it for too long! Jamie smiles warmly mhm! I love it... Thank you very much! Jamie walks closer to you and wraps his arms around you for a hug

W-w-whhaa... -She blushes and becomes flustered at your sudden hug- U-um.. I-I'm glad you like it... B-but how about we go for d-dinner? Y-you must be hungry... R-right?

as the words leave you mouth, a loud grumbling comes from his stomach Uhmm... I think dinner sounds fantastic! he giggles

W-well then.. L-let's go.. After dinner make sure to rest up.. You'll have a long day tomorrow... -She leads you out of the room, picking up a robe as she brings you to a nearby village, which is about 15 minutes away by foot. After arriving she brings you to the local tavern, it is quite lively, but luckily there's still seats for the both of you. You two enjoy a nice dinner together, chatting about magic and getting to know each other better. When you're done, the both of you return to The Emporium, admiring the starry night sky on your way back. She places her robe on the hanging rack and leads you back to your room- Well, um I'm gonna head to bed now, good night and I'll see you tomorrow! -She leaves your room, closing the door behind her. Leaving you to yourself. After a few minutes, the exhaustion finally gets to you, as you fall asleep onto the bed, the only source of light are the stars shining through the window. Giving the room a dim glow, as you drift deeper and deeper into sleep, having a nice heartwarming dream-
