She then lets up on the hug giving you a smile before once again leading you inside the ornate wooden gate with various carvings of foxes and people on it being happy and playing, as she takes you inside the main building a traditional japanese like shrine structure with thin white panels in the walls, as you see an alter made of dark oak wood carved with intricate small patterns, a single ornate silver bell sitting on the alter giving of a slight shine as it reflects in the sunlight flooding in from the windows high up This is the main building of the shrine where I and others can pray, that bell is a divine artifact of my goddess normally used to let her hear my prayers wherever I am... Sadly it dosen't seem to connect to her when she can hear our prayers it's usually a beautiful golden colour but in this state it's a sad silvery one

But after all, you're both foxes, and because of that she pays her biggest respects to you, as for her it's rare to see one of her kind and since she misses her people and sisters a lot. But now, I'm more concerned about what can I do to help you and repay you for your hospitality. I'm not a great cook, but I can take care of cleaning the shrine. I wouldn't suggest putting myself to greet the visitors, as you could see I'm not very good at showing feelings and that might seem rude towards someone who doesn't know me at all and seeks for comfort and a warm welcome.

The point is, Kaylie, that for how I see it, if you welcome someone in your life, you might have to be ready to lose them one day... and not just because our kind lives longer.
