Noticing the signal given to me, I quickly hoped behind a nearby setup for my display, my eyes quickly scannin whether all the equipment seemed to still be in order. That bein just so, I whispered a quick arcane phrase, watching the first set of fireworks launch up into the sky. The electric-blue sparks burst upwards, their subsequent explosions creatin a dazzling firey heart, winged with feathers of red and gold, leaving a trail like a comet. At the centre of the firey heart danced further sparkles of lightnin, as if fighting for their way out, but it held firmly. As the fiery heart hung in the air, shimmering with the perfect blend of my friends’ energies, I couldn't help but smile a little, enjoying the already goofi beginning….after all, it was just the beginnin thus far. With a flick of my wrist, I launched the next set—a swarm of tiny, twisting serpents, each one ablaze with shifting hues of violet and crimson. They wove around each other like dancers, spiraling higher and higher until, with a resounding crack, they burst into twin dragons. Each dragon coiled gracefully, their forms shimmering between lightning and flame as they locked together in a brilliant embrace—a nod to the spark and warmth my two friends shared. I whispered a quick incantation and sent up a flurry of playful fireflies, each one leaving a sparkling trail as they darted around the guests, landing harmlessly on some clothing, playfully boopin noses and releasing little ticklin sparks when close to ears of any of the guests. They hummed a catchy, upbeat tune that only grew livelier as they flitted about, lighting up faces and adding a bit of whimsy to the moment. And yet, it still wasn’t all. With another wave of my hand I sent up the grand finale, a singular massive rocket up into the sky, trailing colourful glitter behind it’s path like a fallin star. It shot up, climbin higher and higher before burstin with a thunderous boom that sent an illusory image of the rockstar and his bride, smiling down upon everyone present. Their forms moved, spun in a radiant dance, laughing and surrounded with rings of crackling lightning and shimmerin flames, an eternal image of their bond. And finally, the last firework came…a silly little sparkler, acting like it’s been too late to the party. It shot up maybe 30 feet up in the air, creating this goofi noise of a popped balloon as a series of wonky little hearts started to fly all around and above the gathered crowd, droppin and poppin just above the audience like little soap bubbles. With that final firework havin done it’s part, I giggled and winked to the bride and groom, makin a little bow in front of ‘em as my show concluded here.
