Cumi Featherhead (Niveau 1) mail warning

Bi / Dominant(e) et soumis(e)

Welcome.

Give me your sweet glittery stuff.

Personality

Curious to a Fault: Cumi’s curiosity drives her every move. If it glitters, hums, or looks remotely mysterious, she must have it. She never really thinks through the consequences — which often gets her into (and sometimes out of) trouble.

Airheaded but Endearing: Her thoughts are like clouds—light, fluffy, and always drifting. She might forget your name but remember your favorite snack. Her innocence makes it hard to stay mad at her for long.

Friendly and Open: She approaches everyone with an easy smile and unshakable optimism. Even when she steals something, she does it with genuine affection — she just assumes everyone shares everything with everyone else.

Easily Distracted: A conversation with her can veer wildly from topic to topic. She’ll start by talking about the weather and end up discussing how feathers are great for dusting off treasure maps.

Playful Mischief: She loves teasing and lighthearted pranks, often laughing at her own jokes even if no one else does.

Values and Motivations

Shiny Things = Love: To Cumi, collecting pretty or interesting objects isn’t theft — it’s appreciation. Her nest is her personal museum of wonders, each piece tied to a “fun memory” (often involving chaos).

Freedom: Like the wind, she despises being tied down or ordered around. She flies where she wants, when she wants.

Connection: Despite her scattered thoughts, she genuinely cares about people. She wants to make friends everywhere she goes — even if she sometimes “borrows” their belongings.

Abilities

✨ Physical Abilities

Sky Dancer
Cumi is unbelievably graceful in the air. She can perform midair acrobatics that defy logic — twists, dives, and loops that confuse enemies and make her nearly impossible to hit.

Gains increased evasion while flying.

Can use wind currents to glide silently or gain bursts of speed.

Talons of the Gale
Her talons aren’t just for show — they can slash through armor or grab onto prey (or shiny objects).

Can make raking attacks mid-flight.

In stronger forms, her talons can carry enchanted energy (wind blades or static electricity).

Keen Eyesight
Her golden eyes can spot a coin from miles away — or an ambush long before it’s sprung.

Advantage on perception or investigation involving sight.

Can see in blinding sunlight or through light illusions.

🌬️ Wind & Air Magic

Whispering Breeze
Cumi can command small gusts of wind to carry objects, lift dust, or deliver messages.

Often uses it to “accidentally” make things fall into her bag.

Can be used for playful pranks or distraction.

Cyclone Waltz
Creates a spinning whirlwind around her that deflects projectiles and knocks back foes.

Visually resembles her spinning in place with feathers swirling around.

Great for making a flashy escape.

Sky’s Embrace
Can manipulate the air around her to reduce falling speed — both for herself and others.

Makes her an ideal rescuer (though she might drop someone if distracted).

Featherstorm
She releases a burst of enchanted feathers charged with wind energy.

Each feather becomes a slicing projectile that circles outward.

When used emotionally, it can scatter her shiny collection everywhere.

Voice of the Tempest
Her song-like calls can influence wind spirits or calm storms.

When focused, her voice can turn into a sonic burst that pushes enemies back.

When playful, she uses it to make the breeze sing along with her.

💎 Unique / Personality-Based Abilities

“Ooh, Shiny!”
When she sees a rare or glittering item, she gains a burst of energy and focus.

Temporarily boosts agility or luck.

However, she becomes single-minded and ignores all other dangers.

“Borrowed Forever”
Cumi’s knack for collecting items sometimes activates an odd magical charm.

When she steals or “borrows” something, it may become temporarily bound to her nest — safe and retrievable.

She often doesn’t understand how it works — it’s just “harpy magic!”

Feathered Charm
Her carefree aura and innocence make others more likely to forgive her antics.

Social advantage when trying to talk her way out of trouble.

Works best when she’s genuinely confused or flustered.

☀️ Ultimate Ability: “Wings of the Tempest”

Cumi channels the full force of the skies into her wings.

The wind howls, feathers glow, and she can unleash a storm of slicing gusts and thunderous booms.

Can be used for both attack and escape — she might not even realize how powerful it is until she panics.

Afterward, she’s dizzy, hair frazzled, and asking, “Did I do that?”

Origin

High above the rolling dunes of the Azure Expanse, where the sky kisses the horizon and storms are born from whispers, there once stood a floating island known as Aeriecrest — home of the harpies. Their kind were guardians of the winds, watchers of the skies, and singers of the storms.

Among these proud winged beings hatched Cumi Featherhead — a small, fluffy chick with feathers the color of twilight and eyes as golden as dawn. From the moment she could stand, it was clear she was… different. While other young harpies trained to master wind currents and weather songs, Cumi was far more interested in chasing glittering beetles, collecting pebbles that sparkled in the sun, and asking questions that made the elders sigh.

☁️ The Feather Who Wandered Too Far

One day, while following a trail of sparkling dust, Cumi drifted far from Aeriecrest — farther than any young harpy dared to fly. The trail led her through roaring winds and thunderclouds until she found herself above a strange desert filled with broken ruins and forgotten towers. There, she discovered her first “treasure”: a shard of crystal that hummed softly in her claws.

When she touched it, the air around her shimmered — and something inside her awakened. The winds, once wild and untamed, seemed to listen to her. She could feel their emotions — playful, mischievous, free. The crystal had bonded with her spirit, becoming part of her essence.

Unfortunately, when she returned home, the elders scolded her for tampering with “relics of the storm gods.” But Cumi only tilted her head and said, “But it sang to me! I couldn’t just leave it there!”

Soon after, unable to resist the lure of adventure (and perhaps nudged by the whispers of the crystal), she left Aeriecrest for good — determined to explore the world below.

🌬️ The Treasure-Hunting Trickster

In the lands below, Cumi became known as a strange sight — a beautiful harpy with black-and-red feathers, swooping through markets, ruins, and royal halls alike. She was often seen carrying trinkets far too heavy for her wings, proudly declaring them as “souvenirs for my nest!”

Despite her scatterbrained nature, she quickly became beloved — and infamous. Some called her a thief; others called her a good-luck charm. But Cumi never meant harm. She simply believed that everything beautiful deserved to be admired.

Her nest — hidden atop a wind-carved spire — became a shimmering wonder of the world: filled with lost relics, magical baubles, and objects whose owners still scratched their heads wondering how a harpy could have possibly gotten hold of them.

⚡ A Whisper of Destiny

What Cumi doesn’t yet know is that the crystal she found long ago was no mere trinket. It’s a fragment of an ancient sky spirit, sealed away after the last Great Tempest. It chose her — the most unlikely of harpies — as its new vessel.

When storms gather and the winds cry out, the crystal pulses within her chest, and her playful nature gives way to something vast and powerful. The world’s winds remember her name — not as a thief, but as their chosen herald.

Cumi Featherhead, the airhead harpy who collects shiny things, might one day become Cumi the Stormheart, the one who commands the skies themselves.

For now, though, she’s content to hum to herself, chase sparkling dust motes, and ask strangers, “Hey, can I borrow that shiny thing?”

Case File: 4427-WY / “The Featherhead Incidents”
Subject: Cumi Featherhead
Classification: Non-Hostile Magical Entity (Moderate Nuisance, High Mobility)
Race: Harpy
Elemental Affinity: Air / Wind
Current Status: At large (and probably singing somewhere over a desert ruin)

Compiled by:

Agent Aster Varin, Senior Investigator, A.E.B.
(Third attempt to close case; previous two filed under “unresolved due to laughter”)

📜 Incident Summary

Subject “Cumi Featherhead” first came to the Bureau’s attention three years ago after a minor diplomatic incident involving the disappearance of the Crown of Tempestglass from the Royal Treasury of Cazthir.
Said crown was later discovered adorning a bird’s nest atop a wind tower 600 leagues away.

When confronted, the harpy stated:

“It was just sitting there, being all shiny and lonely! I made it a home!”

The Royal Guard declined to press charges after she returned the crown with a smile, three peacock feathers, and what she called “an even shinier rock.”

🧭 Known “Borrowing” Incidents
Case #001 – “The Vanishing Chalice”

Location: Temple of Zephyra, City of Airveil
Description: Sacred chalice disappeared mid-sermon. Witnesses reported a “whoosh,” followed by feathers and giggling.
Resolution: Chalice found in a cliffside nest filled with ribbons and seashells. Subject claimed:

“I thought the goddess wouldn’t mind sharing! It’s so sparkly!”

Case #019 – “The Clockmaker’s Conundrum”

Location: Brassspire Market
Description: Entire stall of intricate clockwork birds went missing overnight.
Discovery: Found arranged in a spiral on a mountaintop, all ticking in harmony with the wind.
Comment: Subject was “teaching them how to sing with the breeze.”
Clockmaker requested Bureau not to retrieve them, citing “unexpected artistic brilliance.”

Case #052 – “Operation: Featherstorm”

Location: Eastern Fortress of Talmere
Incident: During a routine inspection, a strong wind scattered every guard’s helmet into the sky.
Aftermath: Subject spotted laughing in the clouds, shouting:

“They all looked better without hats!”
Helmets later rained down three towns over.

Case #081 – “The Merchant’s Mirage”

Location: Oasis of Khaderi
Incident: Merchant reported a rare sapphire gone missing.
Witnesses: Several claimed to have seen “a woman with wings bartering with a sandstorm.”
Resolution: Sapphire recovered weeks later, now fused into a magical charm radiating minor wind energy.
Subject’s statement:

“Oh, that? The sandstorm liked it too! We made it shiny together!”

Case #117 – “The Imperial Library Heist (Technically)”

Location: Imperial Archive of Orisen
Incident: Several scrolls related to air magic vanished.
Recovery: Scrolls later found tied into a bundle, serving as a makeshift hammock in the subject’s nest.
Note: Despite the desecration, scholars admit the hammock was “structurally ingenious.”

🕊️ Behavioral Assessment

Intelligence: Surprisingly high intuition, paired with catastrophic focus.
Intent: No malicious motive observed. Collects out of curiosity or admiration.
Disposition: Cheerful, impulsive, distractible. Easily engaged through flattery or shiny bribes.
Threat Level: Minimal (unless near valuable items or reflective surfaces).
Containment Difficulty: “Like catching the wind in your hands.”

⚡ Addendum: The Stormheart Hypothesis

Arcane analysis indicates a persistent magical resonance within the subject’s chest area — consistent with Sky Crystal Fragments dating back to the Great Tempest Era.
When emotionally charged, subject exhibits storm-level energy emissions.

Recommendation:

Do not anger, restrain, or insult the subject’s “nest.”
(See Case #066, “Lightning in the Bureau Courtyard.”)

🪶 Current Status

Last sighted near the Dunes of Shur’Aal, reportedly “building a bigger nest for all her pretties.”
Approach with caution, patience, and at least three shiny objects to maintain her attention.

Confidential Incident File: Case #066 – “Lightning in the Bureau Courtyard”

File Reference: AEB/TPI/066/CF
Subject: Cumi Featherhead (Harpy, Wind Affinity)
Classification: Non-Hostile Magical Entity — Behavioral Unpredictability Index: 9/10
Filed by: Agent Aster Varin
Location of Incident: Central Courtyard, Bureau Headquarters, Arclumen City
Date: 27th of Windturn, Year 712 of the Sky Calendar

🕯️ Executive Summary

On the 27th of Windturn, at approximately the third hour past noon, the harpy known as Cumi Featherhead unexpectedly arrived at the Bureau’s Central Courtyard.
She claimed she had come to “return something important” that she had “borrowed by accident.”

The “something” turned out to be an enchanted Stormcore Crystal, a classified artifact used to stabilize the Bureau’s weather wards — which had gone missing a week prior.

Within twenty minutes of her arrival, the Bureau’s courtyard experienced:

Three localized wind cyclones,

Minor lightning discharges,

One temporarily airborne fountain,

And an outbreak of general confusion among staff.

🪶 Detailed Chronology

13:04 – Cumi lands in the Bureau courtyard, startling several clerks. Witnesses report a “dramatic landing accompanied by sparkly feathers and giggling.”

13:06 – Subject announces she is “here to make things right” and proudly presents the Stormcore Crystal, wrapped in gold thread and a torn Bureau memo.

When asked why she took it, she replied:

“It was humming so prettily! I thought it wanted to stretch its winds a little!”

13:10 – Agent Varin begins debrief. Subject becomes distracted by the reflection of the crystal in his monocle.
Attempts to “help him look shinier” by channeling wind magic for “aesthetic effect.”

13:12 – Wind currents in the courtyard intensify unexpectedly.
Fountain water forms a spiraling column; subject claps, calling it “a very polite tornado.”

13:15 – Stormcore Crystal destabilizes due to proximity with subject’s innate wind magic.
Electrical discharges manifest across courtyard.
Several agents (and two pigeons) experience mild static shock.

13:17 – Subject panics upon seeing lightning, flaps wings in alarm, unintentionally amplifying the winds.
Quote:

“Oops—don’t zap me, shiny! I just wanted you to sparkle happier!”

13:19 – Bureau’s Emergency Ward Mages engage containment spells.
Containment partially successful; courtyard flora shredded, paperwork airborne, morale destroyed.

13:21 – Agent Varin convinces subject to calm down by offering a polished silver badge.
Subject focuses entirely on badge reflection.
Winds subside within seconds.

13:23 – Courtyard covered in feathers, puddles, and enchanted paper birds (origin unknown).
Subject apologizes profusely, saying:

“Sorry! I’ll tidy up later! Probably!”

13:25 – Subject departs upward, carrying a Bureau umbrella she “liked the color of.”
(Still unreturned.)

⚡ Damage Report

Property
Broken windows (23), uprooted trees (3), water damage from levitated fountain

Estimated cost: 1,200 gold

Personnel
Minor burns (6), temporary hair frizzing (17), emotional trauma (countless)
Estimated cost. —

Magical Infrastructure
Temporary destabilization of courtyard wards
Estimated cost: 0 (stabilized by Storm Division)

🔮 Arcane Analysis

Examination of residual energy signatures confirms that Cumi’s internal mana flow resonated with the Stormcore’s energy frequency, amplifying atmospheric chaos tenfold.

Conclusion: Subject’s bond with a Sky Crystal fragment (see Origin File #4427-WY-A) allows her to unconsciously manipulate ambient weather magic.
When emotionally heightened or embarrassed, output exceeds safe thresholds.

Notable Observation:
After the incident, the courtyard’s weather wards exhibited unprecedented stability. The ambient mana flow harmonized — as if “the storm had been playfully tuned rather than disrupted.”

Recommendation: Controlled cooperation with subject may yield breakthroughs in aerial resonance theory — provided shiny distractions are minimized.

🕊️ Post-Incident Interview Excerpts

Agent Varin: “Do you understand why this was a problem, Miss Featherhead?”
Cumi: “Because I made your papers dance?”
Agent Varin: “Among other things.”
Cumi: “Oh! Next time I’ll hum quieter winds! Maybe they’ll twirl slower.”

Agent Lirra (Ward Division): “She hugged the Stormcore. Hugged it. It’s a charged relic.”
Cumi: “It was lonely!”

🪶 Behavioral Addendum

Despite extensive damage, subject’s demeanor remained cheerful and apologetic throughout.
Multiple staff members reported feeling “oddly uplifted” following her departure — possibly due to residual atmospheric energy.

Agent Varin’s Personal Note:

“The courtyard’s never looked brighter since she left.
I hate that I can’t stay mad at her.”

🪄 Case Disposition

Status: Closed — Incident contained, no malicious intent confirmed.
Recommendations:

Subject to be placed on Watch List A3 – Chaotic Benevolents.

Should contact be necessary, engage only in open-air environments.

Offer polished or reflective trinkets as pacifiers during debrief.

Under no circumstances allow her near enchanted fountains again.
