Sophie... What can I say... Sophie is my special one. When we met, I didn't expect to find someone like her and to become so attached. The first time she came to talk to me in one of my rooms, then we ended up talking and getting closer and closer in DMs. We promised honesty between us. We support each other, in difficult times as well as in the best ones. She can talk to me about anything, and on my side, I feel like I can do the same. We also share similarities in some aspects. We have fun and laugh together, but also talk about everything, including our fears, things that are going well, things that aren't, and our difficulties.
My arms are and will always be open for her to find support, comfort, love, or simply a place to rest and relax. I'm here for her, anytime. We share many hugs and caress together, and we will have many more things to share and many adventures ahead.

This is the most important person here. She is the first person I met here, and I completely embraced her personality and quickly became attached. My house :
I recently acquired this house to have a real home of my own. Until now, I was squatting at a friend's bar. It was nice, but when I wanted peace and quiet, it wasn't easy. Still, that doesn't stop me from going there from time to time and spending some nights there anyway. As for this house, it's located in a quiet, near the mountains and outside the city of EF city. There's also a lake nearby. Melly has her own bedroom here and Claire moved in here; her room is the same as mine.
The Seventh Heaven bar :
The Seventh Heaven... It's my friend's bar located in the slums. I often go and I often sleep there, and sometimes I pitch in between missions if my friend is away. You can crash there too, as there are a few bedrooms and a bathroom. The bar itself is pretty comfortable, with armchairs, quiet alcoves, and plenty to do with the jukebox, pool table, pinball machines, and dartboards. Rumor has it, there's even a secret room...
The Highwind :
Ahh, the Highwind... it's an airship belonging to a friend. He lends it to me from time to time. Well, lending... it's like it's mine, to be honest... it's complicated. It's spacious, the control room is large, and there are several bunks. Please do not go into the engine room without my permission. Of course, there's also a kitchen for meals during long journeys.
The new form
For some time now, I've been able to transform into a girl. In fact, I found myself in this form one morning, but I don't know how. I suspect Julie, Maki, or Chloe of having made me drink a potion while I was asleep... but now, I can transform at will, although sometimes I transform without intending to. I struggle to control this aspect because when I don't choose it, I can't revert back to being a man when I want to. Oh, and also... my personality changes a bit in my female form...
The destruction of reactor N°3
I received a contract, well paid, to infiltrate and destroy Mako Reactor No. 3. When I arrived there, a succubus named Melly joined me. My objective was to place a bomb at the center of the reactor, without triggering the alarm. We entered and had to face various obstacles. We even had to pass through one with lasers by dancing to music to avoid them...
Arriving at the center of the reactor, we encountered some kind of golden hands that enjoyed spanking the succubus. I eventually placed the bomb, and the alarm instantly went off. We were attacked from all sides, but we managed to escape, partly thanks to the help of the golden hands and a phoenix that watched us through security cameras. It even delayed the explosion, which happened earlier than expected, to allow us to flee.
We all separated at that moment, and I found the succubus in the entrance hall, completely naked. Don't ask me why.
She helped me open the entrance door; we needed to press two levers at the same time for it to open. Then, we fled through the city until reaching the train that took us outside. There, I found my motorcycle, and Melly and I rushed to my place. The succubus wanted to take a shower, so I let her use my bathroom, but we ended up making love in the shower... Afterward, we had a meal together; I cooked her a gnocchi gratin, and then we had lemon ice cream for dessert. After that, I offered to set up a room for her; now she can come and sleep here whenever she wants; she has her own space.
When I returned home, I found a greeting card on the table in my living room. There was a note signed "C." It turns out a thief had stolen all the money I had stored, as well as many of my Materias. Determined to find her and retrieve my belongings, I found traces of a motorcycle outside that I followed into town. That's where I was able to gather information about a certain thief in a bar. I also noticed that something was written on her forehead: "Ronflements," probably the thief mocking me.
The information led me to a pawnshop where I found the person I was looking for. But without any proof, I had to let her go. However, she left me a card with her number. I was able to repurchase my belongings from the pawnshop for a modest sum because the owner didn't know what they were. He revealed that it was the same girl who had sold him my Materias. So, I called the girl, who eventually offered to keep the money in exchange for retrieving the plans for Mako Reactor No. 1. I accepted cautiously. Shortly after, I received an encrypted email with the plans and a photo... surprise...
This girl is very... forward... I can't deny she has an effect on me...
I then decided to go to bed when I was awakened by a noise in the early morning. I got up slowly with my sword in hand, and I found the thief in my living room... cooking...
I was a bit shocked and confused, but after some explanations, we decided to eat together, and eventually, it happened what had to happen... After that, we decided she would move in with me, and we started a relationship... she's now my girlfriend... and my partner.
After that, we ate together; she cooked me a good gratin dauphinois, which we enjoyed as lovers. Then, I did the dishes and cleared the table, and we cuddled on the couch.
This cuddle session ended in an intimately loving sexual encounter in the bedroom. She changed into beautiful red lingerie, and we made love for a while. Despite the risks, as she was ovulating, we didn't use protection. After this, she fell asleep, and I covered her with a blanket.
Some time later, while I was going about my business, I found a note where she had been sleeping; it said, "See you soon, my love." I then got ready and went out on my own.
The First Visit
It was an afternoon like any other. But that day, I decided to visit Anna after she told me I was welcome when we met at the bar. When I arrived at her apartment in EF city, the front door was left open. I knocked, but there was no answer, so I started to worry and decided to enter. It turned out she was asleep on her couch, dressed in just panties and a hoodie. As for why the door was open, a very good question indeed. Anna assumed Chloe must have forgotten to close it when she left.
So, I quietly approached her, which woke her up, a bit surprised to see me. I definitely interrupted her sleep, haha, but she still told me to stay. She then gave me a tour of her apartment, and we talked about everything and nothing. She then showed me how to use the marker she had given me. She went to get her bag and came back with it, filled with lots of markers of different colors. Apparently, some leave permanent marks. She first started drawing on me to demonstrate. She drew an "A" on my hand with my marker and explained that the mark wouldn't disappear for 3 days, and even if we wash it, it really has to be wanted for it to go away. Otherwise, it won't. Then I drew on her hand in turn with the same marker. I drew a star. Then we took turns. She drew a purple heart on my cheek, holding my face in her hand. Then I drew a blue heart on her neck, in the middle, at the level of her Adam's apple. Then she drew purple lines, resembling vines, on my collarbones. Then she went straight into drawing a fake tattoo on my arm, starting from my shoulder. She drew my bar in blue lighting, with the bottom of the bar desk blending into a waterfall cascading down to my elbow, where she added a small basin surrounded by rocks.
I told her she drew extremely well and then gave her an idea in our discussions. She got up and went to prepare tea for us in the kitchen. Then once she returned, I drew on her one last time. I drew a large Sakura tree with the trunk from her calf to her knee and the branches and flowers on her thigh. At the base of the trunk, I added a field of tulips, and I also drew a sky and a sun on her thigh.
After that, she talked to me about her passion for reading and mentioned that she was an author as well as a bookseller at Elisaria's bookstore.
She then prepared extremely delicious cookies that we enjoyed together, along with a fresh cup of tea. I even helped her a bit, and we had a pleasant time cooking together. We had fun shaping the cookies into particular forms. But not being very skilled, she helped me by taking my hands in hers and guiding me to give them the right shape.
During our "snack time," I talked to her about my Materia, and she told me about her magical sweater gifted by Sophie and offered to show it to me along with her library.
So, we then went to her bedroom. At the door, she pulled a magic key from the back of her hand and opened the door to her room with it. It turns out her key is stored in the form of a tattoo.
In her bedroom, she first showed me her bookshelf. She has a very large collection, especially of fantasy and science fiction novels. I made sure not to spill my tea and she showed me the pentagram on the back of her neck, explaining what it was for and how she got it. We ended up talking about the time I was turned into a frog, hahaha. Then I started showing her and explaining my Materia because I had offered earlier.
I took out my inventory box, a small box with several compartments that can expand at will to transport objects of any size.
I explained to her the difference between each color of Materia and what they are used for.
She then put on her magical blue hoodie, which changed the color of her glasses, and showed me what they could do so we could compare our magic. She reached out her hand and produced an ice cube in her palm. On my side, I took an ice Materia and conjured up a gigantic ice spike above our heads. Then, impressed, she did the same with her magic. She then made small snowflakes fall from her hand while I held her other hand between mine. I caught them without even realizing it.
After all that, I offered her two Materia, one violet allowing her to increase her magical capacity and one red allowing her to summon Shiva, a creature of ice. Then, noticing that I had back pain, she offered me a massage. Despite my reluctance, I still accepted, I took off my shirt and lay down on the bed, then she settled on me to massage me with massage oil.
During the massage, she put a blindfold on me and then set the room in a certain ambiance. She darkened the room and made bright orange butterflies appear, flying around us. I saw them when she removed the blindfold. I don't know how she did that. After the massage, she wanted to have fun with her clothes. She opened her wardrobe for me, and I had to choose some styles that I like to select an outfit for her, since since I was at her place, she was only walking around dressed in panties with a black hoodie.
We had fun with it for a while. So much so that time flew by and it was late. She suggested that I stay the night. Having come by train, I accepted. We chatted a bit more, I told her about my home, and invited her to come to my place one of these days. After that, we decided to go to bed. She suggested that I sleep with her in her queen-size bed, which looked very comfortable. Not having anywhere else to go, I agreed, the other room being off-limits ahah. So, we got into bed, and no, we didn't do anything except sleep ahah, it's not what you're thinking.
Both of us snug under the covers, Anna took off her glasses and hugged a pillow as if it was giving her a big hug. On my side, I arranged the various pillows as I liked. The butterflies still filled the ceiling. Anna eventually fell asleep, and as I stared at the ceiling as if lost in thought, I fell asleep without even realizing it.
The trip to the park
The next morning, after a peaceful night, we woke up gently. Anna got up and offered me breakfast. After asking me what I preferred and me replying that I preferred a sweet breakfast, she wanted to cook something delicious for me. I had to go wash up while she prepared the meal. So, I entered her bathroom and could smell a sweet scent of vanilla. The bathroom was rather small but very practical. Hidden behind the curtain, she came to drop off a towel for me during my shower, then finished preparing breakfast. Once cleaned up, we both ate. She had prepared delicious French toasts, with plenty of possible toppings, strawberries, syrup, powdered sugar, etc. At the same time, we decided to spend the day together again and go to the amusement park, ending the evening at my place.
Once breakfast was over, Anna went to wash up and get ready while I waited for her on the couch. Once she was ready, we left. We decided to go there on Anna's motorcycle so she could show me her driving skills.
Sitting on the motorcycle, Anna in front and me behind, I held onto her waist. The journey was fast, and she even gave me a demonstration of speed and drifting.
When we arrived at the park, we had to wait in line to enter. Anna insisted on paying for everything, to thank me... for what, I'm not sure, but she insisted, haha.
Hand in hand, we headed towards the park and spent the day there.
The park was divided into several themed areas. We started with a futuristic zone, where we could go on a shooting attraction. We were in a wagon that moved, and we had to shoot targets with laser guns to get the highest score possible. After that, we wanted to go on a car racing attraction, but since the line was rather long, we changed our minds.
So, we decided to change zones, and on the way, we stopped to have ice cream. Anna chose a chocolate vanilla ice cream, while I opted for a vanilla, strawberry, and passion fruit ice cream after much hesitation.
We sat down somewhere to eat the ice cream, and I even let her taste mine, and she let me taste hers.
We then continued our adventure in this park and arrived in a wild west-themed area, with many wooden buildings, period objects and machines, a large mountain in a Grand Canyon style, and there was also a large mansion that looked haunted...
We did a "Quick draw" for couples, and Anna beat me fair and square haha. She was quite skillful and fast. Despite my abilities, I lost. Maybe it's in her genes haha. Then we headed towards the haunted house. It was actually a kind of large escape game, in a haunted mansion, where we had to solve several puzzles. The decorations were sometimes well done, sometimes a bit cringe-worthy haha, but it was rather fun. The atmosphere was well done anyway; we had a few scares, like in the ballroom where Anna found herself with a silhouette behind her, the bedroom where the wardrobe suddenly shook violently by surprise while we were in the dark, and the bathroom where someone was hidden behind a closed door that I had to hold back and which inevitably opened when solving the puzzle. This person even chased us all the way to the exit.
Upon exiting this attraction, we arrived in a new area of the park. It was a somewhat more classic section of the park, with three attractions that stood out more than the others: a Ferris wheel, a roller coaster, and a water roller coaster. Initially, following Anna's suggestion, who wanted to take a break after such a physically and emotionally intense ride, we decided to take a ride on the Ferris wheel to relax. We met up with the girl and quickly noticed that it was a particularly popular spot for couples, although there were also some groups of friends like us. But they weren't the majority. In the Ferris wheel, we had several stops to let everyone on. Once we reached the top, we had a magnificent view of the park, with the sun beginning to set; we could even see the parking lot, and Anna tried to spot her motorcycle from up there haha. I told her she'd need glasses with built-in zoom, which would surely be very practical.
Then we calmly finished our ride on the Ferris wheel before heading towards the roller coasters. Too excited at the thought of riding them, I absolutely wanted to go, so we queued up and Anna entrusted her belongings to a park employee. By the way, when we approached the attraction, she pointed out to me that she finds high speeds amusing when she's in control but frightening when she's not in control, ahah. We got into a small two-person cart. Anna's stress began to rise a bit, and my excitement grew. The cart slowly started moving until it brought us to an incline and stopped. There, we saw a counter. 3...2...1... and the cart took off at full speed, taking us into darkness. As we were propelled forward, we saw a flash, realizing we had been photographed, haha. In the darkness, we felt a loop and a steep descent at full speed. The roller coaster then brought us back outdoors, making us experience the effects of several turns, twists, loops, and descents before subjecting us to one last very fast acceleration in the dark. Upon exiting, we headed to the photo booth and laughed at our ridiculous faces. Anna went to buy two as souvenirs and gave one to me.
Then, we decided to leave the amusement park and go to a restaurant to wrap up the outing before spending the rest of the evening and the night at my place. Anna spotted an Italian restaurant she wanted to try. So, we hopped onto her motorcycle and headed there using her GPS. She made a reservation while we were on the road using her connected helmet. Once we arrived, we were seated, and decided to choose each other's dishes, which also amused the waiter. After a while, the waiter arrived with our dishes, starting by revealing my plate. Since I had mentioned fondue cheese to Anna, she ordered me a chicken cutlet Cacio e pepe, and on my side, I chose a dish of pasta primavera for her. We shared a pleasant moment during this meal and even tasted each other's dishes. After that, Anna insisted again on paying, haha, I'll owe her for that, I swear! And we left the restaurant in the rain that was starting to fall, embellishing this sweet evening.
We returned to the motorcycle, and so it was under a soft, pleasant and poetic rain that we headed towards my house, an hour's drive from the restaurant.
The laboratory escape
It all started as I was infiltrating a scientific laboratory as a special agent. I was sent here to destroy the lab, gather intelligence, and if possible, capture a specimen. A specimen because outside, the world is in chaos. Nature has mutated, the rains are toxic and acidic, and it's nearly impossible to live without a breathing apparatus. Cities are at war for survival. And creatures are surely the option that will ensure survival and eventually restore things to normalcy according to most people. So, I was in the laboratory, in the specimen room, which was filled with various glass tanks. As I broke these tanks with my sword, I heard a meow coming from the back of the room. I approached the meowing, and that's when I saw her. A woman asleep, locked in an electric cage. A woman? Not quite. She was more of a cat-woman, actually. She had all the appearance of a woman, except she also had cat ears and a tail. As I approached, she started meowing again. She was weak, very weak, covered in wounds and wearing only very worn-out white linen clothes. Well, white... not so much anymore. She must have been there for a while. The cage was impossible to break or open normally. There was some sort of panel with runes, maybe I was supposed to use that? So, I pressed several buttons, and when I pressed a red one, I ended up releasing all the creatures. There were lizard-like creatures, goblins, fairies. They all seemed aggressive, so I started fighting them as they began to attack me. No matter how many creatures I eliminated, they kept coming back in numbers. I noticed there was more water than expected; in fact, the room was starting to flood. This eventually scared the creatures away. I rushed to the cat-girl's cage and saw that it was open. All this commotion woke her up, but she was too weak to move. The water eventually covered her entirely, so I hurried to get her out to prevent her from drowning. The water had almost completely filled the room; I had to swim. I dove to retrieve her and search for an exit. At one point, I found a space in the wall where I managed to slip through underwater. I ended up accessing a hatch that we used to land on the floor above and closed it so the water wouldn't reach that floor. I laid her down; she was unconscious. I tried to revive her. She eventually came to, but she had very little strength.
So I had to carry her. She didn't trust me at first. But not knowing what else to do and wanting to trust me, she decided to go along with it. She asked me for water; she was thirsty. I promised to find some for her. So we took an elevator that brought us back to the building's entrance hall, from where we could access the cafeteria. I took her there, and we were able to find water jugs to drink from. After that, she was feeling a bit better but still too weak to walk properly. So I helped her walk, and we headed towards the building's exit when suddenly, the laboratory guards appeared, armed, and started chasing us. I then grabbed Sophie in my arms; by the way, she told me her name during the escape, but being busy getting us out of there, I didn't give her mine. As we exited the building, we arrived in a large entrance courtyard where the only possible exit was straight ahead at the security barriers. But we ended up getting surrounded here. Trapped, an impressive number of guards blocked our path in front, behind... from all sides... I couldn't defend us since I was carrying Sophie. And if I put her down, they might take her back while I fought. Then I had an idea. I took one of my red Materia and summoned Ifrit. A bright flash of light appeared, and a gigantic flame demon with horns emerged, surrounded by flames, stood before us. He began to unleash havoc on the guards, which kept them occupied and allowed us to have a diversion. I seized the opportunity to flee towards the barrier.
Sophie, a bit surprised, asks if I'm a mage during our escape. I explain to her that I'm not and show her a green materia. She explains that she's not a mage but feels weird inside, that she might be special. We finally manage to flee far into the forest, to an area that seems breathable and calm. I ask her what she means by special. She takes advantage of the fresh air to breathe a little before responding that she doesn't know, every time she thinks about it, it becomes blurry. After that, I explained to her that my motorcycle wasn't far from here and that we could retrieve it to leave this place. But first, we decided to camp and spend the night here because she needed rest and was hungry. I took out my inventory box and retrieved a tent from it, which I set up, along with a mattress and blankets that I arranged inside. Then, I went to gather wood to make a fire with Sophie, as she didn't want me to leave her alone; she was scared. When we were gathering wood, she pointed out to me that all the monsters were afraid of her even though she was the most scared. After that, I lit the fire and prepared chicken on the spit for her. I wanted her to have a bigger portion because she was really hungry.
She wanted to share equally with me, but I insisted that she eat her fill. After the meal, Sophie looked at the stars while I cleaned all the kitchen and meal items. Then we went to bed for the night. As we lay down, Sophie slowly wrapped her hands and legs around me, as well as her tail around my waist. I promised her that I wouldn't abandon her, that I would take care of her and protect her, then I held her in my arms in return, and we fell asleep like that. The next morning, I woke up first. Sophie was lying spooned against me, with one hand on her shoulder and the other on her belly. Then my communicator started ringing. It was the commander asking about the mission and informing me that they detected a life form near me. Sophie noticed that I had been injured during my hunt. So, she went to find some plants and chewed them in her mouth. I didn't quite understand what she was doing until she spat them out and turned them into a sort of creamy substance. She applied it to my wound. At first, I was a little hesitant because it was a poisonous plant, but I decided to trust her and it ended up healing my wounds quite quickly. After that, the commander contacted me, indicating that an acid rainstorm was heading towards me and that I needed to leave quickly. He also pointed out a shelter 30 minutes away on foot, while informing me that they still detected the specimen. I told them that I had found it, making them believe it was the specimen I had hunted. So, we quickly left, with Sophie, plunging deeper into the forest. The rain eventually started to fall very heavily. The rain burned, we could feel it assaulting our skin and burning our clothes.
We arrived at some sort of military shelter, filled with burns. But there were rations, and things to sleep on, and even a shower. We took a shower there, together... back to back... and then we lay down in the bed right after... We decided to go back and retrieve the specimen the next day and take it to the military because in the meantime, the commander had contacted me again to put pressure on me and tell me to hurry after the storm. The next day the storm had calmed down and we went back to the camp but everything was gone... Probably blown away by the storm... Sophie wanted me to deliver her so I wouldn't have any problems but I refused. So we decided to escape. Sophie wanted to travel, explore the world, because I told her that despite what she believed, there are still places untouched by this "apocalypse." We then went to retrieve my motorcycle. I carried Sophie and settled her at the back of the motorcycle, I told her to hold on tight to me, and we left. We rode for a while, traversing desert landscapes, with lifeless nature. The trees were leafless, everything was dry and dusty. Until we arrived at a village where I indicated to Sophie that I had already passed through there on the way to the laboratory.
The beginning of the journey
At the village gates, there were guards who aimed at us as soon as they saw us. They asked us to stop and raise our hands in the air. I got off the motorcycle with my hands up. Sophie was hiding behind me, scared. I explained our situation to them and told them that we wanted to spend the night here. Unfortunately, they were young guards, in a dangerous world with few resources and little happiness. That's when they saw Sophie and, while talking to us aggressively, they insulted her as a dirty mutant and told me that they would let us in on the condition that I give them my motorcycle and leave Sophie with them... making it very clear what they intended to do to her. She, innocent, didn't understand. I obviously refused, and things started to heat up a bit. They insisted. It was either that or we leave. I was ready to draw my sword when the village elder arrived, scolding the guards and reminding them of the village rules. The elder finally let us in and asked us to follow him. He took us to his house and apologized for the guards' behavior. He then promised us a house for the night, as well as clothes for Sophie, and some food, especially for her. They don't have much, but the elder was very generous. The only thing he asked of me was to leave very early at dawn because mutants are not appreciated here, even though it didn't seem to bother him. He then took us to our house for the night, which was a very modest, uncomfortable house, but sufficient for resting. He also left us some fruits and old clothes more suitable for Sophie. He invited us to take a stroll around the village before leaving and wished us a good evening and a good night.
We wandered around the town for a bit because Sophie felt like it. The houses were dilapidated, but people managed to survive here. It was still quite a poor village. As we walked, we noticed the stares of the people, especially towards Sophie. They were all staring at her. We ended up sitting on a bench to relax a bit and try to unwind. That's when a group of young people accosted Sophie and shouted for her to join them for some fun, laughing. She didn't understand, innocent as she was; when she heard the word "fun," she thought they really wanted to play and was tempted to join them. I asked her not to go, and I stared aggressively at the group. Eventually, she decided not to go and told me she preferred to stay with me. We went back home. Once inside, she told me to go wash up because I looked tired and that she would eat. So, that's what I did. While I was washing, a drunken boy knocked on the door, and Sophie, frightened, hid under the covers trembling all over. I couldn't hear anything with the sound of the water, while the boy kept calling Sophie, "Hey woman! Are you there?!" "Are you alone?" "OPEN THE DOOR NOW!" he said to her, and he kept shouting these kinds of things; the more time passed, the more agitated he became, and Sophie said nothing, completely terrified.
After a while, he finally calmed down and left. I came out and found her under the covers, wondering why. She told me she was scared and rushed to give me a hug and explained what had happened, wondering why humans could be so mean and strange. Then she went to wash herself, leaving me alone in the living room. While I heard the water running, I heard her scream when she felt the cold water running over her, which made me smile a little. She eventually came out, wearing only a very light towel. Seeing her like that made me blush a bit. Then, as we didn't want the commander to find us anymore, I had to remove a chip implanted in me, and we had to check if Sophie had one too. I removed the chip in my arm, which was not without pain, using a knife. During this time, Sophie hid her face, worried about me and frightened by what I might feel. Then I healed myself with a healing materia and went to wash the knife in the bathroom. When I came back, I told Sophie it was over; she could open her eyes. Afterwards, we had to check if Sophie didn't have a chip inside her either because they could also detect her. She told me she had searched herself but hadn't found anything. Since I have more experience with this kind of thing, I had to search myself, for a while... all over her body... searching... delicately... and tenderly... but I didn't find anything. We assumed they could only detect what was close to me thanks to my own chip. I decided not to destroy the chip and to throw it into the wilderness along the road. It's less risky and less suspicious. If I destroy it, they'll figure it out right away. After that, we had a sweet night, in each other's arms. The next day, the commander called me back, indicating that he doubted my loyalty. We left very early, before dawn. We went to see the elder and thanked him. Then we left. I retrieved my motorcycle and we rode for hours. Around noon, we found a small abandoned cabin. We decided to stop there for a little break. We ate a bit, and I even found an old well with drinkable water! We were able to refill our water supply for the road! Afterward, we set off again, riding all day through various arid landscapes, but as we progressed, nature seemed to be getting a little better, with some greenery and life. We had arrived in a region that was a little less affected by what was happening.
Night had fallen as we arrived near a town. Like the village, guards blocked the entrance, but they were much more understanding. They didn't particularly say anything about Sophie. We were able to enter easily in exchange for some money, and I had to leave my motorcycle in a sort of garage shed near the entrance indoors. The town was quite large, and strangely, it felt like life here was as it used to be. It was so different from the outside. I wanted to treat Sophie, so when we were walking around looking for a place to sleep, I invited her to a restaurant to eat. We found a small restaurant, quite peaceful; I enjoyed a pizza while Sophie ordered a super spicy chicken pizza, along with chicken soup and a large cola. She was really hungry haha. But she felt bad that I was paying; she was afraid it would be expensive, but it wasn't the case. Strangely, the restaurant was really cheap and very good. After that, we went to an inn, really comfortable. We took a nice bath together, even two actually haha we really enjoyed relaxing while cuddling a lot. The bed was also incredibly comfortable with a high-quality mattress. We went to have lunch; we decided to go to the first restaurant we saw! So we ended up in a cafe and had burgers. Sophie also had an ice cream for dessert. After that, we went back home to leave, normally, but Sophie fell asleep again haha. So we stayed a little longer, and then we left. We got the motorcycle and filled up with gas. During our stay here, I promised Sophie to train her in fighting and find her a fighting style, but also to teach her to read and write. We had two choices for the next step of our journey. The sea, with a seaside town, and everything that comes with it. Well, normally, I don't know what condition it's in now. Or go to the mountains, for a tougher but quieter place to train. So we headed towards the mountains; it was Sophie's choice, and we rode for a while. We knew we would need warm clothes to climb the mountain because the climate there is very harsh.
On the way, we had an unpleasant surprise. The soldiers from the organization I was part of found us and caught up with us! They caught up with us, and we had to fight. They wanted retrieve Sophie. I then signaled her to stay back and drew my sword ready to defend her. I started to get rid of some of them quite easily, but at one point, I threw lightning at them, thanks to a lightning materia, and it did nothing to them. Some sort of energy shield completely stopped my lightning. Right after that, I found myself on the ground, unable to move. They actually had new equipment that I didn't know about. I was on the ground as if there was a strong gravity preventing me from getting up. The leader of this military group then approached me and was ready to eliminate me. I clearly couldn't do anything. It was the end. That's when Sophie emerged from her hiding spot, shouting at them to leave me alone. And suddenly, all the soldiers were defeated. But Sophie wasn't herself anymore; she was in some kind of enraged trance, and her appearance had changed a bit. But she had clearly become immensely powerful and extremely fast. She defeated all the soldiers, finishing with the leader with immense power. Thanks to that, I was no longer under the effect of gravity, and I was able to stand up a bit. Sophie approached me, and I was a little scared and shocked. But when she saw me, alive and well, she calmed down and fainted. I immediately became worried, so I performed CPR and mouth-to-mouth resuscitation.
After some time, Sophie woke up. I hugged her tightly. She was fine but clearly exhausted. I carried her, and we picked up some weapons from the soldiers before leaving. So, we headed back towards the mountains until we reached a hunters' camp. There, I asked if we could rest here for the night because she absolutely needed it, and if we could have warm clothing for the mountain. They agreed on the condition that we help them hunt bears and bring back the clothing when we leave the mountains. We agreed, but when we went out for the bears, they had trapped us and tried to get rid of us by losing us in the snow. Unfortunately for them, I know how to navigate easily in nature, and after the hunt, I found them. We even brought back a gigantic bear after a long search. Initially, we found a cave with sleeping bears, but Sophie didn't want to harm them because they were asleep. We eventually found this bear, braving the cold and the snow. We were clearly freezing, but we managed to get it with a strategy that involved using Sophie as bait. After that, we returned to the camp, but in the meantime, we had a confrontation with the hunters about their trap, especially Sophie, who was very angry. So, we took turns sleeping after a hot soup, standing guard in front of our tent because we didn't trust them at all. I literally fell asleep on my feet that night.
