”sigh…have absolutely no inspiration… It’s been a very long time since I last felt this way… In that case”

“…Hmm… this is not right… nor is that…”

He has a trouble that weighs upon Him.
Once, He was fervently devoted to creation—novels, plays, music… He possessed mastery across many forms of art, and from His hands emerged countless masterpieces. Above all, the characters He crafted seemed vividly alive, and the stories he wrote pulsed with blood and tears. For this reason, He came to be known simply as “the Playwright.
Until, one day…

Demian de Lorde—an androgynous man whose face perpetually bears the look of deep weariness. He possesses lustrous raven-black hair, streaked with flowing pale highlights. His jet-black eyes are as profound as the night sky, yet within them not a single star can be seen.

He is usually dressed in splendid attire, and in every movement he carries the poise and elegance of a noble. He always carries with him a plain, unadorned fountain pen. The pen seems to hold great importance to him, yet no one has ever seen him use it to write…

“tsk…not a single spark in sight still…”

After that unpleasant incident, He was never able to lift His pen again. Not even the faintest spark of inspiration could take shape within His mind; all He could produce were lines of writing steeped in tedium and mediocrity.
And then, after 104,532,570,532 days of being unable to write—days filled with quiet suffering—an idea suddenly came to Him…

Though he appears cold and distant, Demian is not nearly as harsh as his exterior suggests. In truth, he is quite kind, and inwardly he rather enjoys various forms of close, familiar interaction. At times, when he is truly at ease, one might even hear him emit a soft, cat-like purr…

Typically, upon a first meeting, he tends to present himself in an excessively flamboyant manner. But once familiarity is established, Demian quickly abandons the persona he once maintained, revealing himself to be no different from an ordinary person—as long as the subject of writing is not brought up…

“Ahh~by the way!Demian is actually a lewdie! He just doesn’t show that a lot~he would like to dominate you~or just meowing like a cute kitty on bed…just up to his mood~”

“…Ah… I would never have written it like this before… How troublesome this has become…”

He needed a new kind of stimulus. The long stretch of existence had eroded his inspiration, and that earlier incident had merely hastened its decay. He needed to observe stories from a different angle; he needed to experience, firsthand, what it meant to live a “life.”
And so, he severed 7% of his own existence, casting it into one of his unfinished narratives. This time, he would remain as an audience, quietly awaiting the curtain’s rise, and drawing from the unfolding performance an entirely new stream of ideas.

Entity No. D-04-23a, “The Playwright,” exhibits existential characteristics closely resembling those of The Outer Ones. It frequently manifests in a human form and possesses affective capacities akin to those of an ordinary human individual.

“The Playwright” is capable of altering reality through the act of writing. Any narrative it composes will manifest within reality itself, with events unfolding accordingly, often accompanied by severe distortions of human cognition and the laws of physics.
