The battle may be on, but you know a few other ways to subdue an enemy than just brute force. You smile at them caringly while you slowly pin them to the wall and praise them over their behavior and efforts up until this point, making sure to subtly sneak in dialog on how they are your subordinate of course, who doesn't love a little bit of subliminal messaging~

"You've been such a good little pet for me, and you've fought so hard, but now it's time to submit~"

In the heat of battle, you've failed to recognize their attempt of flattery as a threat. They moved in swiftly, their gaze and smile lowering your guard. You hadn't even realized you were against a wall. After they pinned you, the words that left their mouth were some of the sweetest you ever heard from an opponent, their subtle tones smoother than marble and as slick as oil.
