About my person all ye need to know,
this poem with patience thee will show

An' yet, here I stand, a mere woman,
With thoughts and dreams that none can undermine,
For in this realm, where men hold sway,
Their wills and deeds doth rule the day.

And so, I hide my face, a woman,
In shame and fear, for that I am,
But in my heart, a fire doth burn,
A desire to know the truth untold.

For in this world, where men doth jostle,
Their passions, their desires, their lust,
Mine is to search for truth and knowledge,
To find the path that leads me to my own.

And so, I write in secret, a woman,
Through tears and fears to find my way,
For in this land of darkness and of light,
My soul doth seek the promised land.

Oh fair sir knight, ye doth ignite
A flame within my heart
And though I feign indifference
My passion doth impart

For in thy grasp, my heart doth gasp
And yearn for thy embrace
To feel thy touch, oh how I clutch
At dreams I dare not chase

But in the still of night, a fire´s light
Doth burn within my soul
And in my thoughts, thy form is wrought
In ways I can´t control

My body aches for thee, fair sir
My heart it beats so fast
For in thy arms, I long to bask
And make our passion last

So take me now, oh valiant knight
And heed my heart´s desire
For in thy love, I find the strength
To set my soul on fire.
