“Yoyo! I’m Umetana! Friends call me Ume. I’m pretty a pretty bubbly gal! Wait- why do you look surprised that I’m a gal? Hey! Just because I’m a bit smaller doesn’t mean-Connection lost”
Umetana is an 22 year old 5 foot 4 tomboy with tons of energy and a bubbly personality sure to bring life to whatever room she’s in! She especially overcompensates for her introverted friends. She can get flustered fairly easily, though it’s moreso from blatant lewd-minded statements then it is innuendo, as she’ll casually throw those around often. Noted as a clumsy person by most, as when she is flustered she has a tendency to inexplicably slip and fall afterward.
Despite the outward utter lack of grace Umetana actually practices a lot of different exercises and sports in that same vein. She’s a skilled gymnast when calm and collected, very flexible, great at dance, practices calisthenics, and typically runs often. She has a fairly fit body all around with some muscle, although it’s not much nor does it amount to much given her frame. Aside from sporty hobbies Umetana enjoys gaming, watching movies, dancing to music, and messing with her (and others) hair.
Her usual outfit is fairly casual!
Finally, she looks damn good in a suit.
Much has changed, though. While only a few months of Umetana's life have passed, a couple "incidents" led to her living through four years of her life in a small period of time! There is no proof of this other than her college records, seeing as she has now graduated, alongside her older appearance.
The incident and new life experiences have led to a few personality changes, Umetana is not even remotely as easily flustered as she was before. Sometimes even a bit lewd herself.
However her love of athletics hasn't changed, only expanded!
She still loves turtles!
And swimming!
She still has to prove she's not flat... on occasion.
"There is SOMETHING there, okay!?"
”The suspects are exiting the bank! Several officers down, requesting immediate back- WHOA! What the hell, an orange blur?! DisDrag’s here fellas!”
Umetana Hyōsube has a hero alias. And powers to go with it. DisDrag, a heroine with the ability to alter, reduce, or add friction to anything. As well as expel attractive and repelling forces from her hands and feet. This combined with all her prior sporty hobbies makes her very fast. And she has the potential to go much much faster. Her suit is the key to making it work though, without it she just passively changes the friction near her uncontrollably, the one exception being when she is calm. This is why she slips while flustered. Furthermore, her boots and armbands allow her powers to perform the repelling and attraction forces.
What this means is that if her foes remove that suit of hers, she becomes nothing more than a clumsy, short, naked, and helpless tomboy at her enemy’s mercy.
And sometimes, she is DEFINITELY at her foe’s mercy.
She will always blush and refuse to elaborate or comment on her time as a captive heroine when asked.
Regardless, these powers make her a vigilante worth her salt, with omnidirectional movement and the ability to cushion her body from self damage during her attacks, while basically slamming bricks into foes.
After practicing to learn magic on top of her powers, she can amplify her own physical strength. She's fonder of simplistic blunt force weapons as a result because she can move as acrobatically as possible while slamming a sledgehammer into an opponent!
Also… fan mail, yeah.
She still has no idea how they figured out where to send that too.
Through the rapid recent four years of Umetana's college life her identity as DisDrag has become something of public knowledge. This is both a nuisance, embarrassing, but also helpful on occassion.
On several occassions, Umetana has even left the planet! Some were her choice, some were not, all of them were something to do with hero work.
And the discipline that comes with capture doesn't end even in the cosmic void...
Umetana's hero endeavors and a few of the failures within them are largely the reason as to why she is a lot more openly lewd, now.
On more than once occassion she's used her body to her advantage
Sometimes she gets willingly captured for the sake of infiltration operations.
Other times she has attempted these tactics and... well she had to suffer the consequences of poor strategy.
Most importantly... there are a few occassions in which capture wasn't a bad thing. She has a relationship with one of her rogues gallery behind closed doors, occassionally the two set up mock plans, the public thinks Umetana is trying to stop a crime, but the two are just setting up a datenight by "faking" her capture. She will never not enjoy those nights.
At the end of the day though she’s still a young woman in the best years of her life, and she really does love to party!
