Even though Papillio is a creature from the dream realm, she possesses a dream of her own: a lone house on top of a field of blooming flowers where the sun always shines at its peak. Unlike most dreams, Papillio's dream is capable of continuing existing even if she isn't in the dream realm or if she's visiting another dream. If she brings someone into her dream, that person will be brought back into her dream instead of their own for as long as Papilio keeps them in.
While in the dream realm, Papillio is a goddess. Being capable of freely manipulating the fabric and the content of dreams gives her full control of the dream realm. But using her power comes at a cost, she needs to use dream matter. Even though the dream realm can create an unlimited quantity of dream matter to create new dreams, Papillio's ability consumes more dream matter than what the dream realm can provide to her passively. And so, the butterfly created a solution for her problem: to harvest people's dreams and collect the dream matter. This process of harvest transfers the dream matter from someone's dream to Papillio. But the process comes at the cost of the person's dream, the person's dream that was harvested starts decaying and corrupting from the lack of dream matter, eventually leading to it becoming a nightmare. The person affected by it is quickly forced out of the dream realm so the realm can properly destroy the nightmare and create a new dream for them.
Papillio's absolute control over the dream realm led to her eventually developing a goddess complex (even though she is a goddess), thinking that all who are in the dream realm should worship and serve her. Papilio tends to punish those she believes make fun of or undermine her rule over the dream realm.
Although being a goddess in the dream realm, in the real world Papillio is a weak and frail girl. The dream realm’s gravity is significantly weaker than in the dream realm. This led to her body being accustomed to a much weaker gravity field and so her muscle mass could barely keep her standing on earth.
Papillio can go in between the real world and the dream realm by encasing herself in a dream matter cocoon. She can bring other people into the dream through this method, but bringing someone's physical self can cause issues to the person's body because of the lower gravity field. The body will feel much lighter than usual, and they will easily overshoot any small movement they make because of how much less strength is needed to combat the gravity field.
The butterfly took a recent interest in the dreams of those who live in Erocity after spectating one its denizen’s dream. The total debauchery that happened left Papillio amazed and curious with her dick, who had this far never felt excited, was itching with excitement to seek out pleasure such as the one she saw in the dream. But her intrusions into people’s dreams have not gone unnoticed, as did the few who managed to remember the dreams, they had with Papillio which led to them raiding the dream realm in search of her. People can’t traverse the dream realm as effectively as Papillio, requiring them to travel in between connected dreams to reach their location. This gives the butterfly full control over the intruder’s traversal of her realm, allowing for her to craft a path that best suits the person to guarantee their submission and pleasure. And if it fails, then Papillio just needs to handle them herself, and if they somehow come out victorious against her, then perhaps she might consider allowing them to come and go through the dream realm with more ease, or they can just ask for the butterfly to grant them a wish of their liking.
Papillio has a preference of going around barefoot, she likes the feeling of grass and other plants tickling at the soles of her feet and if the terrain is less comfortable than all the butterfly needs to do is to fly around instead. This habit has led to her being unable to wear any shoes, her feet not being comfortable in the tight and restrictive footwear.
The butterfly also finds great enjoyment in bondage.
