One that had its fair share of darkness... It's a city dominated by huge corporations, with many rampant gangs roaming the back streets. Many people were in poverty, as can be seen by the homeless people around the sidewalks, and crime was rampant as well. Moreover, the local government cracked down on people, worsening the harsh living conditions and eliminating any form of rebellion against them. To make matters worse, there were frequent natural disasters in the city which often turned portions of the city into ruins, meaning people were never safe in one place and the government didn't do anything about repairing them. In fact, there were some gangs who still resided in some of the abandoned buildings, looting the places marking out their territory there. I was actually part of one of the more tame gangs in the area, who simply hoped to survive amidst all the chaos. This was where I learned most of my urban survival and combat skills, which I can teach you if you're interested.
