I've had a wonderful time in this place with my friends, but like Icarus, strayed too close to the sun, and burned my wings.
To put it differently, I walk the earth dreaming of flight. And I think I am done walking.
Thank you for everyone who roleplayed with me. But I am going to need a long break, one I am not likely to come back from, if I am to enjoy this place again. I will keep my alt - some of you know which - available for now while handling some final RP arcs.
Wading through meaningless scenes, hoping to find the meaningful, to recapture the magic, is not amazing for my mental health. I need to find new peaks, and recalibrate.
