Abilities & Equipment

Hallow Cat’s powers are said to come from “The Goddess Within”, a vestige of the Cat Goddess Artemis that originally imbued Shalin with power. Technically, the Cat Goddess activated a latent Aphrodite Gene in Shalin, subtly feminizing them and causing their sperm to have special properties.

Their body produces and breaks down the sperm in their balls to imbue themselves with the energy that powers their ability set:

• Enhanced Agility: Hallow Cat is a lot faster than an ordinary human. While they’re not a speedster, they easily dance around most assailants with an elegance and grace that’s ethereal while landing powerful blows due to the speed of their punches and kicks.
• Enhanced Reflexes: Hallow Cat can react to stimuli with the reaction time of a cat. This lets them respond far faster to an attack than the assailant may think!
• Enhanced Sight: Hallow Cat’s sight is empowered to see farther, and with much greater clarity, than an ordinary human. They retain this clarity even at night. They can see wider than the visible spectrum of colors too meaning they can see things that may not be visible to humans. This also means that bright lights can blind them rather easily…
• Enhanced Hearing: Hallow Cat’s hearing is empowered to allow them to hear a wider range of frequencies than a normal human as well as clearly hear sounds that would be far too faint for a human to detect. High pitched frequencies pose an issue for Hallow Cat as they can be deafened while ordinary humans wouldn’t hear a thing.
• Enhanced Smell: Hallow Cat’s smell is developed to the point that they can recognize a person by scent alone, and track an individual across great distances and through complex environments. This has the unfortunate side effect of making chemicals like chloroform put them under much faster than a normal human. Additionally the smell of their own arousal tends to distract and debilitate them.
• Enhanced Touch: Hallow Cat has far more sensitive skin than humans. This allows them to feel disruptions in even the air giving them an almost “sixth sense” type of reaction to attacks. Sensitive skin also makes for sensitive nipples and a sensitive penis. Arousal can utterly freeze Hallow Cat due to this power.
  
• Enhanced Mental: A fierce independent streak was only enhanced by the Cat Goddess. Theoretically this should render them immune to Hypnosis or Mind Control. However, this ability is the first to go under arousal, keeping Hallow Cat in a fragile state ripe for brainwashing.
  
• Enhanced Healing: A small healing factor lets Hallow Cat bounce back from most injuries within a day. It’s too weak to be used mid-fight to heal though, requiring them to escape first.
• Cat’s Claw: Hallow Cat’s nails grow in size and sharpness and gain the ability to slice through almost anything. This is a devastating attack if it lands.

The sperm must be reabsorbed by their body internally as part of the natural sperm cycle. Drinking their own expelled semen does nothing for them (though it does enhance the senses and agility of other people temporarily - keep reading), nor does drinking the sperm of others do anything.

If Hallow Cat lacks sufficient sperm to convert to energy (if it’s expelled from them voluntarily or otherwise), their powers begin to fade. This normally happens in two stages (requiring two total orgasms): first their physical abilities vanish with orgasm number one, leaving them only with their enhanced senses which will fade with an additional orgasm. Theoretically, a powerful enough orgasm could cause all their powers to fade all at once, though this has never happened.

They will have to recuperate to reproduce their sperm to regain their power. Left alone it usually takes Hallow Cat about six hours to regenerate enough sperm to regain their enhanced senses and another six to regain their physical abilities. This can be modified with various chemicals, vitamins, and behavior. Edging, for example, causes Hallow Cat to quickly overproduce sperm potentially restoring their power sooner or, if Hallow Cat produces an excess amount of sperm, increasing their powers.

Additionally, by vocally pleading to the Goddess Within, Hallow Cat can regain their powers even when drained of semen for a short time. This is usually enough to extract them from sticky situations and begin the longer recuperation phase..

Lastly, if others consume Hallow Cat’s ejaculate, they will be given a copy of Hallow Cat’s powers for a duration commensurate with the amount and freshness of the sperm consumed. Generally speaking, a single ejaculation straight from the source will grant about a half-a-day’s worth of power to a regular human. Drinking their sperm from a collection cup usually degrades the timer to six hours. It’s possible to preserve Hallow Cat’s semen in a collection cup with other chemicals in order to retain the six hour power window.

As Hallow Cat has all these abilities, they don’t rely on technology as much as they used to when they were just a simple thief. That being said, they are good with tech and computers and own the “Cat Car”, a mobile base of operations within which they store additional costumes. Their costumes are simply store bought outfits designed to offer them maximum mobility (skin tight usually) and stealth (often black).

Fighting

Hallow Cat notably lacks superhuman strength, instead choosing to rely on their superior senses and agility to be stealthy and failing that, avoid attacks and damage. With their superhuman agility, even a “normal” punch hits hard and that’s before they use their retractable cat’s claws to slice and dice any obstacle in their path. While they have a healing factor, it’s not strong enough to heal mid-fight and so their reflexes are critical.

Weaknesses

TLDR: Edging Hallow Cat reduces their mental faculties while increasing their physical abilities (making them dumber and more compliant, but faster, and further enhancing their senses). Reaching climax reduces their physical abilities (slowing them down and dulling their senses) but returns their mental faculties to normal. However, for a brief period post-orgasm, they are utterly helpless as their body recovers from the pleasure. Some more weaknesses as well as an expounding of the TLDR as follows:

• Getting Wet: Cats hate getting wet. Hallow Cat is no exception. External moisture, like rain or being thrown into a pool, won’t hurt them, but triggers a freeze or flight response. Hallow Cat will try to escape the source of the moisture (running for cover against rain or getting out of the pool) and if they fail, they might be stunned and freeze in place. History

Unlike sister cities like Metrobay or Delta City, Stellar City doesn’t have the luxury of a myriad of superheroines to defend it from threats.

Instead, the only defense against the rampant crime is the super sentai Saint Force that defends the city. However, the five Saint Force members can’t possibly deal with all the criminal elements of Stellar City and that’s where Shalin Sharma takes the center stage. As a lawyer by day Shalin legally defends criminals in court getting them out on technicalities. At night, they cat burgle the city’s wealthiest. Saint Force has to choose between busting a relatively small Cat Burglar or massive sex slavery operations.

For years this has worked out to Shalin’s benefit, but then… the Machine Empire arrived. A technologically advanced organization, the Machine Empire conquered all five Saint Force warriors leaving Stellar City with no heroines to defend it. Sex Slavery rings dominated, kidnapping women in droves. The police, corrupt, turned on their own female officers. With no heroines, villains from other cities were able to use Stellar City as a base of operations to stay away from their own heroines. Even Charley’s Foxes, an international group of slave hunters refused to get near Stellar City.

Unfortunately for Shalin, with no real police force, no criminals were arrested which meant they were out of a job. Using their legitimate wealth and the goods they stole, Shalin was poised to leave Stellar City and flex their law muscles at Metrobay or Delta City when they were kidnapped by the very sex slavers they had constantly defended in a court of law.

It turned out the Machine Empire was harvesting the potent milk of the Saint Force warriors to power their technology. The milk of those blessed with an Aphrodite Gene was special. The other women that were kidnapped were kept as milking cows if they possessed a latent Aphrodite Gene, this also meant that they couldn't become heroines in the future. The women without a latent gene were sold off as sex slaves.

Shalin was cursed with a latent Aphrodite despite being a born biological male. The transport to their new quarters was greuling for Shalin. Their negotiating skills failed to secure a release, so did bribes (as the Machine Empire would confiscate all of Shalin’s money). Begging did nothing but arouse their kidnappers.

Strapped down to a table and force fed a myriad of chemicals, the Machine Empire tried to awaken the latent Aphrodite Gene so they could harvest Shalin’s milk. With no other option, Shalin prayed. And fortunately their prayers were answered. The warrior goddess Artemis appeared - the goddess of, among other things, the hunt, animals, and chastity. They promised they would help Shalin if Shalin would turn away from ever helping criminals or committing crime. Desperate, Shalin agreed. However, they had to prove their worth to Artemis. With her divine might, Artemis activated Shalin’s Aphrodite Gene and vanished. A confused Shalin was wracked with arousal as their body was subtly feminized by the gene’s activation.

The Machine Empire, overjoyed that their experiments seemed to work, proceeded to lock Shalin into a special milking chamber alongside the Saint Force members. A staunch defender of the values that Artemis herself shares: of feminism, women, and chastity. Shalin agreed and Artemis left a vestige of herself inside them.

Thus was born Hallow Cat.

After defeating the Machine Empire, Hallow Cat packed up and left leaving Saint Force to protect Stellar City. Without Shalin around to help criminals get out of jail, the justice system was able to clean up crime with ease thanks to the restored police force and Saint Force. As a gift for helping them, Saint Force gave Shalin their Cat Car with which they would be a nomadic heroine helping put criminals away and defend innocent women.
