Talraena Baenre was born into the illustrious and perilous House Baenre, the ruling noble house of Menzoberranzan. Yet from her first breath, she was a living contradiction. Her skin, rather than the standard black of her species, was stark white. Her eyes, a pale silver instead of glowing red. A Szarkai a rare albino drow, often considered a curse, a symbol of weakness, or a tool for manipulation.
When her Draconic power manifested she demanded to be shown to the world, no more raised under shadows, in secret, out of embarassment.
Some whispered she had been touched by Eilistraee or cursed by Vhaeraun. Others suspected she had designs beyond mere survival... They were right. Talraena has no love for Lolth, and even less for the lies of the drow matriarchy. Yet she plays their game, but under her calm exterior is ambition.
