Yelena Kostova has risen from her humble beginning as a rural music instructor for the Ministry of Culture to lead first Soviet Cosmos Spaceways, then the All-Cosmos Trade Federation, and now provides vital leadership to all of Soviet Cosmos as one of the nine senior party members who comprise the Presidium of the Politburo. After resolving a resource allocation dispute that caused economic crisis throughout Cosmos, she has continued using her newfound political power to maintain Cosmos's stability while she attempts to introduce reforms to improve the populace's quality of life and reduce the government's reliance on aggressive militarism to seize the resources necessary to drive Cosmos's economy.
Service History:
When Yelena responded to a casting call from a movie studio controlled by EF League operative Cam, she was working as a humble Collective Farm Song Leader, bringing Party-approved musical entertainment and education to rural communities. Once her audition was complete, Yelena was cast in her first starring film role in an adult entertainment vid, an extremely pornographic historical drama about early Soviet space colonization. Yelena's movies are now best-sellers in the outer rim colonies as well as in foreign empires. On many ships in Cosmos's semi-independent Frontier Fleet and Scavenger Fleets, the popularity of Yelena's vids have caused her to be dubbed an "Honorary Morale Officer." Her work is sufficiently well-known in foreign markets that on some other empires' frontier colonies, settlers are petitioning their governments to open their planets to settlement by Cosmos emigres in hopes that voluptuous Soviet Pioneers, like the heroines played by Yelena and her co-stars, will settle on their worlds. When the Director-General of the Soviet Cosmos Spaceways abruptly retired due to his involvement in a unbelievably lewd scandal, Yelena's wealth allowed her to grease enough palms that she was appointed to the vacant position for purely propagandistic purposes. Far from being the easily-manipulated bimbo her backers expected, Yelena has put her charisma to use in exercising control over the Spaceways transport fleets, and their revenues now bankroll clandestine EF League operations throughout the Soviet Cosmos.
Irina Vladislavova, Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party

Irina has been appointed to the Central Committee after exposing a bribery scandal that threatened the security of Cosmos. While Irina was in charge of the All-Cosmos Trade Federation, her network of informers uncovered a pattern of suspicious financial dealings between a high official named Zhenya Volkov and an interstellar corporation operating in the Sirius Sector. Irina began an investigation after confirming that Volkov was receiving massive payment through a network of shell corporations at the same time that his office was granting the corporation exclusive contracts for resource extraction and mining in Sirius. Irina's investigation revealed that the corporation was a front for Teutonia's House Ascania, and the contracts had been awarded in violation of laws prohibiting the unapproved sale of natural Cosmos resources to foreign governments. When Irina presented her findings to the Central Committee, Volkov was stripped of office and the contracts he had granted were nullified. Shortly afterward, Irina was offered a position on the Central Committee, with her first task being to launch a comprehensive audit of the Sirius Sector's economy to identify and rectify any negative impacts of the corruption.
Prior service history:
Irina was recruited while working as a data analyst working at the alien life research site on Vostok-7. Her skill at analyzing large data sets and programming AI expert systems has greatly enhanced EF League intelligence gathering operations on Vostok-7. When she discovered that the regional coordinator for Soviet Cosmos Spaceways was smuggling alien life forms off the planet, planetary security forces were able to shut down the operation and arrest the ringleader. When his replacement was installed, local Party officials arranged for Irina to be brought on board as the new Deputy Regional Coordinator in charge of security, in order to prevent any further embarrassing incidents. Later, when the General Secretary of the All-Cosmos Trade Federation discovered the EF League's clandestine base on Harmony-42 and attempted to seize control of it, Irina's control over Soviet space logistics networks allowed her to ship weapons and supplies to Harmony, allowing the planetary militia there to successfully repel the attack. In the wake of the conflict, EF League agents in Cosmos had sufficient wealth and influence to depose the General Secretary and convince the Central Party Committee to install Irina in his place, giving the League effective control over Cosmos foreign trade policy.
Galina Mikhailova, Sector Commander, Kappa Sector

Prior to assuming leadership of the Trade Federation, Galina was the highest-ranking security official on the planet of Vostok-7. Later transferred to the All-Cosmos Trade Federation, she put her security experience to work identifying and exposing regional officials who were illegally hoarding and embezzling vital government resources. Galina's success in battling government corruption, and some string-pulling from her allies in the Politburo, have resulted in her being named Sector Commander of Kappa Sector, a position in which she oversees the development and defense of the League's secret base on Harmony-42. With her connections with the Trade Federation's experienced survey crews, Galina is constantly on the lookout for new investment opportunities throughout Cosmos and beyond. After a recent encounter with hostile KGB agents, she has also constructed a network of well-defended safehouses for herself on other Erofights League agents throughout Kappa Sector.
Anastasia Ponomareva, General Secretary of the All-Cosmos Trade Federation

With the support of senior EF League agents in Cosmos, Anastasia has taken control of the All-Cosmos Trade Federation, making her the latest in a series of League agents controlling the Federation's control of trade policy throughout Cosmos. Her current priority in her new role is to ensure the stability of the Erofights League's base on Harmony-42, and under her stewardship a steady supply of supplies, armaments, and settlers is arriving at Harmony, financed by the export of valuable minerals.
Service History:
Anastasia was a Cosmopolitan Liaison Officer responsible for establishing diplomatic ties with newly settled worlds, securing resource agreements, and fostering cultural exchanges. She frequently works in conjunction with the Ministry of Energy, negotiating resource extraction agreements with help the Ministry meet its fuel production requirements. During her most recent negotiations, she acquired effective control of Cosmos's mining colony on the planet of Harmony-42 through a shell corporation funded by dark money.

Tatiana has recently been promoted to become Director General of Soviet Cosmonaut Spaceways, finally letting her escape the shadow of her more successful brother, the People's Commissar for Energy. She is seemingly extremely competent and hard-working, but until now her brother consistently receives the credit for Tatiana's work. Now that Tatiana is working with the EF League, she has attained a measure of power for herself, with authority over transport and logistics throughout Cosmos. To this end, she has increased security on Spaceways cargo and transport ships, giving them increased protection against space pirates and foreign privateers, and ensuring that most Spaceways vessels have an armed complement of security personnel who can be used to support League operations if necessary.
