A Science Fiction Spy Game About Completing Missions and Collecting a Harem

Civilizations rise and fall throughout the galaxy, sometimes existing alongside each other in peace and harmony, and other times clashing with each other in devastating conflicts waged with terrifying force. And in interstellar conflict, even a minor war puts billions of lives at risk. Because of this, several societies throughout the galaxy have made it their business to promote peace and deter war whenever possible. The Erofights League is one of the most eccentric of these societies, sending its highly trained agents into conflict zones and potential hotspots to maintain peace with their powerful sexfighting skills. Whether they're gathering intelligence, defusing tensions, or overthrowing tyrants, agents of the Erofights League are prepared to put their bodies on the line to achieve their goals, usually in a very enjoyable fashion.

In the Asgerd Phi star sector, tensions are rising as nations compete over planets and resources with increasing aggression. Of these nations, the Erofights League has identified the Radiant Theocracy of Tara as one of the most potentially dangerous nations, yet also one that is particularly susceptible to being subverted from within.

The Radiant Theocracy of Tara
Ruler: Pope Liam DLXXIV

The Theocracy is ruled by the Pope of Tara, a leader who claims to be directly descended from the first head of the Universal Church, and who wields immense spiritual authority over his subjects. For those situations in which spiritual authority is not enough, the Theocracy is willing and able to bring alternative arguments to bear in the form of the Armée Impériale, a military force which is second to none in the Asgerd Phi sector. Equipped with the latest in starfighter technology, planet-cracking weapons, and genetically-engineered super-soldiers, the Armée enforces the Pope's will with ruthless efficiency. While this overwhelming might is capable of securing obedience from the Theocracy's subjects, it's less capable of securing their loyalty. The average citizen of Tara displays a distinct lack of civic pride or sense of duty, preferring instead to keep their heads down and go about their lives without attracting the attention of the Church's inquisitors or the Armée's enforcers. This disconnect between the rulers and their subjects is ripe for exploitation.

As an operative of the Erofights League, it is your task to infiltrate the Theocracy, make contact with officials and citizens who are dissatisfied with the current state of their society, and convince them (probably with orgasms) to help the League turn the Theocracy's policies and resources away from aggression and repression, establishing a just and prosperous society in its place. You will face opposition from the entrenched powers within the Theocracy, as well as from its outside enemies, but with persistence and courage the League is certain you can prevail. If you are prepared to undertake this mission, simply send a DM to register as an agent of the Erofights League! You will then be allowed to choose one of the available missions listed below, and begin your infiltration of the Theocracy. Once you have a mission, you'll be assigned an agent you can recruit to help you complete that mission. When that happens, we'll play a match in which you can... win over your agent, let us say. If you win the match (or if you're entertaining enough while you use) the agent is added to your spy network, increasing your power and allowing you to take on more advanced mission and recruit additional agents.

Recent Events

Stardate 9886
The success of the Theocracy's genetic engineering and clone soldier programs have led to its rapid expansion through the sector. Due to the Erofights League's intervention in the genetic engineering program, most of the Theocracy's super-soldiers are more interested in love than war, and many of them have abandoned the Theocracy's military, choosing to instead settle down and establish themselves as the new aristocracy of the Theocracy's recently-conquered worlds. Now that the border conflict between the Theocracy and its neighbors is somewhat stablizied, the time has come for EF League agents to leverage their connections with the rising nobles of the border worlds to recruit agents among nation's political and military elites.

Available Missions:

  1. Operation High Oak
The merchants of Tara may have limited political power in an official sense, but their trade fuel's the Theocracy's economic engine, allowing the theocrats to maintain their hold on society. If we can gain leverage over the mercantile network, we can divert some of their profits to our own causes, denying them to the rulers at the same time.

  2. Operation Frost Centurion
The the socially-stratified hierarchy of the Theocracy of Tara, the nobility serve as hereditary rulers and military commanders, a role which places them in a superior position above the commoners and merchants. The theocrats use a delicate combination of bribery and force and maintain the support of the nobility, lavishing gifts upon those who are cooperative and unleashing their secret police upon those members of the nobility whom they consider subversive. The Erofights League has access to wealth and technology that rivals that of the Pope and his theocrats, and it might be time to engage in some bribery and social engineering of our own in order to bolster our own support among the nobles.

  3. Operation Blissful Mustang
While the citizens of the core worlds of the Radiant Theocracy of Tara live a life of almost unimaginable wealth and ease due to their society's highly advanced technology, the people of the outer colonies are more likely to live a desperate, hardscrabble life as they terraform and develop newly-settled worlds. In those places, shortages of basic resources and medical care mean that environmental hazards and disease are constant dangers, and desperation often leads to resource conflicts between settler communities. This has led to the stationing of militia units across the outer colonies to maintain order, although this has led to further tension which further perpetuates the cycle of poverty and violence. If we can recruit some well-placed agents in the outer colonies, we can implement new policies to improve the lives of the colonists and bring them out from under the thumb of martial law.

  4. Operation Sad Lightfoot
In the Mojave System, the birthplace of Tara's super-soldier project, the Armee Imperiale has sent a veteran officer to take control of the super-soldier training program. This officer has instituted a simple, brutal training regimen intended to instill obedience and to create soldiers who think only of conquest and domination. Under his command, the trainees are subjected to a hierarchy based entirely on combat skill and violence, and he has begun leading recruits on "training missions" which are in fact raids against neighboring nations. Unless we somehow neutralize this officer and regain control of the training program, the gains we've made in taking control of the Theocracy's super-soldier project are in danger of being rolled back.

  5. Operation Dizzy Starlight
As the Taran central government steps up its efforts to assert control over its newly conquered star systems, it sends some of its most decorated veterans to the conquered United Stellar Republic of Tepeyollotl. Now that the Theocracy of Tara has seized control of the USRT's worlds, it seeks to stamp out the USRT's heretical fundamentalist-spiritualist state religion and establish the Unified Church of Tara as the one true religion. The veteran troops sent by the Theocracy have implemented a new training regimen for the occupying forces, one which emphasizes loyalty to the military and to the church. The Erofights League needs to send agents to subvert the new training program, ensuring that the Taran occupiers are seduced by the League's promises of pleasure and free love rather than by the Theocracy's hollow promises of salvation and military glory.

Completed Missions

Operation Big King, Stardate 9876.1
completed by Dennis Coren

As tensions grew between the Theocracy of Tara and the Neo-Draconian Dominion, Erofights League operative Dennis Coren infiltrated the Theocracy's largest genetic engineering and cloning facility, becoming a trusted subordinate to its director Maria Soledad Medina. He seduced Maria during an all-night laboratory shift, convincing her to aid the Erofights League in exchange for the prospect of scientific freedom once the Pope of Tara and his theocracy are overthown. Excited by the prospect of being able to pursue her own research without being forced to focus on research that supported the Theocracy's militaristic expansion, Maria enthusiastically agreed to aid Dennis in his campaign to free Tara from the Theocracy's tyranny. The genetically engineered supersoldiers who were meant to form the vanguard of the Theocracy's military forces have now been conditioned to value love above war, and wherever they go they are now more interested in gaining an intimate knowledge of the local culture rather than in waging wars of conquest. These sexy soldiers of love have been dispatched not only to the outer worlds of the Theocracy, but have also begun to infiltrate other nearby nations, including the Neo-Draconis Dominon, the Morvarc Confederacy, and the Kaiserreich of Concordia.

Operation Shy Witch, Stardate 9886.5
Completed by Dennis Coren

Once EF League operative Dennis gained control of the Theocracy's gene engineering facility, he began using it to produce an army of lovers rather than fighters, and they used their amorous skills to help us bolster our influence in the outer colonies and in other nations' border worlds. The bad news is that before Dennis was able to subvert the program, the Theocracy had already managed to produce a whole bunch of bloodthirsty and relentless clone warriors, who served as the vanguard of the Theocracy's war of conquest across the border worlds with their martial prowess and advanced weaponry. Operative Dennis intervened to prevent a bloody showdown between the Theocracy's super-soldiers and the EF League's own infiltrators, recruiting the reclusive scientist Refugio Valiente to develop a solution. Working with geneticist Maria Media, Refugio developed an array of sexual devices which, while fun for anyone who used them, utilized highly-advanced pheromonal release system which rendered them entirely irresistable to the Theocracy's clone forces. While there was an unfortunate adjustment period during which the horned-up super soldiers were virtually unstoppable in battle, driving the Theocracy's enemies from one stay system after another, whenever there was a lull in the fighting the soldiers demonstrated a tendency to find nice partners among the local population and settle down into peaceful and sexually-fulfilling civilian life... and after a few unfortunate military policemen found themselves hospitalized after attempting to round up these "deserters" and forcibly return them to the military, the Theocracy's top brass seems to have accepted that returning these "corrupted" super-soldiers to the fold would only be more trouble than it's worth.

As factionalism and infighting developed among Tara's forces on numerous newly-conquered worlds, Operative Dennis stepped in to resolve the situation by elevating the faction known as Les Nobles, a group of Taran officers who sought to maintain control over the Theocracy's new holdings by amassing and displaying wealth to establish themselves as a new aristocracy. Now that Les Nobles and their elite units of holy warriors are now effectively in control of Tara's newly-conquered territories, the Erofights League can benefit from their military power and tactical acument. Further, the newly-wealthy Nobles have been buying their way into Tara's political patronage system, giving them (and the EF League) access to some of the most influential figure in the Radiant Theocracy of Tara. Naturally, this has also attracted the attention of rival political groups who are wary of these newcomers, so we will need to be cautious until we learn more the internal politics of Tara.

Operation Iron Girl Scout, Stardate 9892
Completed by Dennis Coren
The Radiant Theocracy of Tara and its neighboring rival the Neo-Draconian Dominion, have recently undertaken campaigns of expansions, absorbing smaller polities in their respective missions to spread their own particular flavor of One True Religion across the sector. While the efforts of the EF League has gained enough control over the Taran war efforts to prevent much of the repressive violence that the Theocracy was known for in the past, the Dominion prefers to cow its foes through a campaign of terror and wanton destruction.

When it became clear that Neo-Draconis was planning a full-scale invasion of Tara, Operative Dennis and his agents acted quickly to prevent a devastating conflict. Investigator Lizzy Green and social scientist Carmen Medina undertook an ambitious effort to identify fault lines in Neo-Draconian society. Resentments between members of the Divine Bloodline of Neo-Draconis, and between members of the clergy, allowed the Erofights League's agents to sow chaos throughout the highest levels of the Dominion's government. Lizzy's network of agents and informants eventually gained the ear of Prince Amenhotep Ra, the third son of the Pharaoh-Pope of Neo-Draconis. With Lizzy's aid, the prince orchestrated a palace coup, killing his father and seizing the throne. The fleets and armies of Tara were able to take advantage of their foe's internal strife to win a series of decisive victories over the Dominion's invasion fleet and seize several of the Dominion's planets under the guise of restoring order. A cease-fire is currently in place, and Neo-Draconis's new ruler has used the Dominion's defeat as a justification for purging the priesthood from positions of political power; Neo-Draconis is not expected to be a threat so long as the new pharaoh is focused on consolidating his power.

Operation Wavy Neptune, Stardate 9893
Completed by Dennis Coren.
On the planets recently conquered by the Theocracy of Tara, a new aristocracy is rising under the influence of the Erofights League. Word that the conquering armies have turned to lives of pleasure and luxury has reached the Theocracy's homeworlds, and the government decided it was time to bring these upstarts back into the fold. The Theocracy sent a young officer to win the loyalty of the Nobles of the planet Olokun VIII, recently seized when the Theocracy of Tara conquered the Tozoztli Star Kingdom. With the resources of the Theocracy behind him, he has commenced an ambitious building program to win the loyalty of the locals by offering them a taste of the elevated culture and social legitimacy enjoyed by the nobiliy of the coreworlds. Perhaps not coincidentally, Olokun VIII is the only known planet where Quetzalcoatl Extract is produced. This plant-based compound is capable of accelerating healing, enhancing cognitive functions, and extending lifespan. In order to prevent this resource from falling into the hands of the Pope and his corrupt lackeys, Erofights League operative Dennis Coren struck a deal with the military governors of the planet, teaching them how to train their troops in the pleasurable art of sexfighting, building new bonds of loyalty along the way. The interloper from the coreworlds soon found his entreaties falling on deaf ears and returned in failure. Now, a new religious sect has split off from the central church and arisen in the Olokun system, a much more tolerant and pleasurable belief system than anything the state religion has to offer.

Operation Big Boy Scout, Stardate 9894
Completed by Dennis Coren
Almost as soon as the League foiled the Taran Pope's attempt to exert his authority in the former Tozoztli Star Kingdom, he sent more officers to Olokun VIII to exert control over the military officials there. This time, instead of trying to win them over with bribes and lavish construction projects, the Pope's lackeys offered cutting-edge training and lucrative land grants to former soldiers who enlisted for Tara's next military campaign against its neighbors. While these incentives did little to appeal to those who had entrenched themselves as the new aristocracy of the conquered worlds, they were effective in recruiting many veteran soldiers who had lost their newfound wealth in pursuit of luxury and debauchery. As the Theocracy prepared for a new campaign of conquest, Operative Dennis Coren cultivated new contacts among the Taran Theocracy's Tozoztli Occupation Fleet. With the aid of a conspiracy of technical personnel led by Zephyrine Descartes, he arranged for the sabotage of Admiral Samson's flagship. When an "unknown mechanical failure" caused the Admiral's ship to vanish into Subspace without a trace during its first warp out of the Olokun system, the invasion was aborted while the entire fleet was subjected to painstaking inspection and maintenance. The invasion is still stalled, and many of the former super-soldier who re-upped their enlistment have since deserted, apparently having second thoughts about entrusting their lives to the Theocracy's space fleets.

Operation Snow Biscuit, Stardate 9895
Completed by Aby
The increasing influence of the Erofights League among the colonial military of Tara has caused an intense schism within Tara's central military command. Reformers led by Jean-Pierre Lemaitre, inspired by the Erofights League's ability to bring down governments with nothing more than spycraft and seduction, advocate for greater use of infiltrators and espionage to defeat enemies while minimizing direct conflict. Traditionalists led by Guilaaume Renard prefer to maintain Tara's traditional strategy of defeating enemies through overwhelming and brutal force. When the Council of Cardinals sent the priestess Delfina Pantoja to mediate between the two factions, she found the traditionalist faction to be intransigent, refusing to even negotiate with her unless she defeated their hand-picked champion in single combat. It is possible that this was part of an attempt to assassinate the peace-loving young priestess by having her "accidentally" killed during the bout. Fortunately, Erofights League operative Aby was on the scene and offered Deflina some last-minute training in the arts of combat, including some very erotic and distracting maneuvers that gave Delfina the edge over her opponent. When Deflina defeated her opponent by technical knockout (or, more accurately, by fucking him into exhaustion), even the most hardline traditionalists had to admit that brute force was no match for the power of sexfighting, and the military is now studying ways to accomplish its missions using sexfighting techniques rather than their more traditional lethal methods.

Recruited Agents
Image Title
Maria Medina
Director General of Manipulation Operations and Human Resources
Type: Science/Administration
Handler: Dennis Coren

Maria is the coldly efficient bureaucrat in charge of managing Tara's clone troop production facilities. Her current project is focused on the creation of genetically-engineered super soldiers to establish Tara's military supremacy over its neighbors, and she's under pressure to produce these soldiers as soon as possible so Tara is prepared to battle the Neo-Draconian Dominion. After intense negotiations with EFL operative Dennis Coren, she has made modifications to the super-soldier program to fit the needs of the EFL rather than the Theocracy. While her goals now align with ours, she is still a master of using genetic engineering as a tool of political control, as befits her position as one of the top science administrators in the Theocracy. Until we have had an opportunity to further secure her loyalty, EFL agents should remain cautious in dealing with her.

Image Title
Carmen Medina
Rising Star of Social Engineering
Type: Science
Handler: Dennis Coren

As the daughter of Maria Medina (though those familiar with Maria's knowledge of genetic engineering and cloning might find this alleged relationship suspicious), Carmen has a first-rate scientific education currently serves as a junior research liaison at the Institute of Sacred and Secret Sciences, where her flair for strategic thinking and scientific innovation have already caught the attention of the High Council of Tara. While most of her time is taken up with theoretical study and mentoring new researchers, she already has obvious leadership potential.

Image Title
Aniceta Medina
Strategic Projects Assistant Director

Another of Maria Medina's "daughters" who's probably the project of extreme genetic engineering, Aniceta learned about governance, diplomacy, and technology from her mother and recently saw her studies pay off when the High Council of Tara appointed her as one of their Strategic Projects Assistant Directors. She is currently devising a plan for the integration of the recently-conquered planet of Olokun VIII into the Theocracy's political and economic systems. She is leading the effort to catalog the planet's vast array of native species and their medical and agricultural uses, while also keeping an eye out of dissent and subversion. She's very good at her job... and at knowing when overlook things whenever it would serve the aims of the Erofights League.

Image Title
Refugio Valiente
Unorthodox Advisor to the Pope's Science Council
Type: Science
Handler: Dennis Coren

Refugio is an eccentric and reclusive scientist who spent years in the cramped confines of a converted mining habitat carved into the heart of a massive asteroid. Obsessed with the study of exotic materials and off-the-books technological experimentation, the Hermit had amassed a vast collection of rare elements and cutting-edge gadgets. When Erofights League operative Dennis Coren offered her the opportunity to make her mark on the galaxy and prove the superiority of her unorthodox scientific methods, particularly her theories about sexuality and biochemistry, she was convinced to assist him. Once the unusual sex toys she invented were put into production and hit the market on the worlds that had been recently been conquered by the Theocracy, the Theocracy's super-soldier program fell into chaos as its soldiers found themselves obsessed with fucking instead of fighting. In addition, putting those toys into the hands of the EF League's agents and sympathizers has greatly increased their ability to... infiltrate those worlds, advancing the League's goal of establishing a more peaceful and pleasurable society. When Refugio's activities attracted the attention of the church, she convinced the church's investigators that the effect her toys had on the Theocracy's clone soldiers was entirely accidental, an unfortunate side-effect of the soldiers' lack of genetic diversity. She was so convincing, and so forthcoming with possible solutions (which never entirely worked) that the church recruited her in hopes of both benefiting from her scientific expertise and keeping her under control. She now serves as the Unorthodox Advisor to the Pope's Science Council, where she pretends to be loyally serving the pope while surreptitiously redirecting what resources she can and keeping the EF League informed of the latest scientific developments within the Theocracy of Tara.

Image Title
Lizzy Green
Knight of the Theocracy
Type: Espionage
Handler: Dennis Coren

Lizzy is an interstellar investigator, skilled at tracking down leads, convincing witnesses to spill their guts, and tracking down her quarry in grimy back-alleys and pristine corporate suites alike. She lived the life of a noir heroine, constantly hustling, going where the money was while still making every effort to adhere to her own eccentric moral code. When EF League Operative Dennis offered her a massive amount of money to drop the insurance investigation she was working on to investigate the Neo-Draconian Dominion and establish a spy network there, she leapt at the challenge, and in the process of proving her worth she just happened to institute a coup that will have uncertain long-reaching effects for the Dominion and its neighbors. In the short term, though, she pretty clearly played a key role in preventing a protracted and bloody conflict between Neo-Draconis and Tara, and has recently been knighted for her deeds, granted her a privileged position within the Theocracy of Tara... and making her an even more valuable agent.

Image Title
Leocadia Green
Secret Service Junior Operative
Type: Espionage
Handler: Dennis Coren

Leocadia's is an up-and-coming technical agent in Tara's Secret Service, quickly establishing herself with her hacking and decryption skills. She is also being trained to work in the field, whether as a courier, an observer, or a field analyst. Her work is discreet, precise, and understated, qualities which mean that her work is often overlooked by her superiors and fellow agents. Not coincidentally, she often finds herself positioned to learn secrets and access information that are well above her paygrade.

Image Title
Christelle Barre
Mistress of Faith and Iron
Type: Religious/Military
Handler: Dennis Coren

A former political officer on Olokun VIII, Christelle has risen to become the top military chaplain-officer on the planet. With the aid of the Erofights League she recently overcame an attempt by the Theocracy's central government to seize control of the Olokun garrison, and she now uses her position to promulgate a new interpretation of the Theocracy's dominant religion among the troops, a religion which is more open and tolerant than the Theocracy's conservative church, and more accepting of the pleasures of the flesh as well. Her combination of religious leadership and strict training have further secured the loyalty of her troops to the Erofights League.

Image Title
Zephyrine Descartes
Master Engineer of the Fleets
Type: Technical/Military
Handler: Dennis Coren

When Zephyrine served as one of the chief engineers of the Tozoztli Occupation Fleet, she was approached by League operative Dennis Coren with a plan for preventing the Theocracy's latest war of conquest. Disillusioned by seeing the violence that accompanied the Theocracy's invasion of Tozoztli, and seduced by the League operative's sexual skills, she quickly agreed to lend her assistance. With the assistance of Dennis's many scientifically-skilled agents, she was able to covertly sabotage the warp drive of Admiral Samson's flagship, and conveniently "noticed" and flagged anomalies in the drive's power output mere hours before the fleet was due to leave the Olokun system en route to its next conquest. The impatient admiral refused to delay the fleet's departure on such short notice, and his ship vanished without a trace during its very first wormhole transit, whereupon the vice-admiral issued and emergency order delaying the invasion until a thorough inspection could be made of every ship in the fleet. Several additional ships were found to have engineering flaws, and Zephyrine was commended for having identified this danger and trying to stop it, even if Admiral Samson foolishly ignored her advice. The Ministry of Technological Advancement has appointed her to the newly-created post of Master Engineer of the Fleets. Now, she and her team of elite engineers work with the ministry to allocate naval resources and evaluate potential research projects... and if they just happen to favor long-term research and construction projects that leave the Theocracy with fewer researches for short-term military adventurism, well, that's just an unfortunate example of the sort of trade-offs the military planners have to make, isn't it?

Image Title
Delfina Pantoja
Knight of Reconciliation
Type: Religious/Military
Handler: Aby

As a young priestess, Delfina preached a version of Taran religion that emphasized love, hope, and inclusion, an approach to theology that provoked disdain and hostility from the religious traditionalists that rule the Theocracy. Because of her unorthodox views, her early career saw her transferred to a variety of unpleasant and hazardous missionary postings among the outer planets. When the Council of Cardinals ordered her to mediate a dispute between rival military factions, she thought she'd finally been given a chance to prove herself and her methods, never realizing that she was being sent in the expectation that she would fail and suffer a fatal "accident" in the process, getting her out of the Council's hair for good. The Council's plan seemed to be going right on track when the leader of the military's traditionalist faction refused to accept Delfina's mediation unless she proved herself in a bout against the army's handpicked champion during the annual Military Games. Fortunately for Delfina, her plight attracted the attention of Erofights League operative Aby, who trained her in the League's special wrestling and sexfighting techniques. Putting these lessons to good use during the bout, Delfina forced her opponent to submit in multiple ways, humiliating the traditionalist factions and cementing her authority while demonstrating the efficacy of the League's sexfighting techniques. In the wake of her success she has forced the military to implement many new reforms, emphasizing intelligence and careful planning over brute force and indiscriminate violence. The Council of Cardinals has reluctantly been forced to award Delfina the title of Knight of Reconciliation in recognition of her achievements, bringing her into the aristocracy. She has used her new position and power to push for further military reforms, advising the military's High Command on matters of diplomacy and cultural understanding.
