In fact, there are more people who outright avoid the place. The local school children all fancy the place to be haunted and even the adults will claim to have witnessed any number of legendary yokai or kami coming and going from the area. Nothing keeps anyone from wandering in. The small garden around the ancient tree is quiet and relaxing. I great place for a picnic or private meeting. Should you open the gate and enter this quiet oasis, you will almost certainly leave feeling more at peace, more comfortable in your own skin than you felt before hand.
Feeling like you need something that you cannot find in this world? Step through the gate after the sun has set and you might find what you're looking for. But don't think that you can get something for nothing. After all, there isn't anything in the world that's free. I won't judge you for your desires, but I will demand fair compensation.
