Some players think that profile kinks can be used to prioritize actions meeting your kinks. The opposite is the more important intention: Kinks are used to protect people from unpleasant experiences or worse (e.g. phobias). If a kink is not checked, then the action will not come up. Beginners often do not check kinks, so they will get a vanilla game. Summary: To protect people, make sure to get your action's kink setting correct.
