I woke up with my arm wrapped around you, giving you a gentle squeeze as I tried to clear the fog from my head. I was tempted to try and head back to sleep, but staying here all day wouldn't bode well with our new plans to get set up in the city. I gently ran my fingers through your hair before sitting myself up and inching around your spot on the bed, stepping off of it and stretching my arms out with a yawn. I slipped on my boots and my belt like I usually do every morning and began walking for the bedroom door. I planted a small kiss on your head, whispering a small 'good morning' to you before slowly exiting the room so as not to disrupt your sleep too much.

Luna had a terrible night, tormented with nightmares of the past, still haunting her mind. She was still with her arms wrapped around you when you woke up, as if asking subconsciously for your protection. As soon as you got up she gave you a little gaze from her comfortable position, her eyes still half closed and sleepy. Morning love...
She murmured, smiling faintly at your kiss before pulling the sheets to cover her entirely. Her hand reached for the pendant on her chest, as she took a deep breath. Maybe thing would have changed, maybe everything could've been fixed... she wasn't sure of that, but her hopes were still there, fighting for her.

I stepped towards the freezer box in the kitchen and opened it up, pulling out a healthy amount of bacon strips. I carried them over to the surface next to the stove, laying them out on a clean towel before reaching for a nearby pan and setting it on the stovetop. I reached into a cupboard and yanked out a match, striking it and tossing it into the stove to light what wood was left. I closed the stove hatch and waited for the pan to heat up before laying a few of the strips into the pan and let them sizzle, cooking them until they were nice and browned. When those strips were done I replaced them with a few others, eventually working my way through the bundle. I set an even amount of the cooked bacon onto two plates, carrying the both of them back to the bedroom and slowly opening the door. I walked over to the bed and sat on the edge of it, nudging you through the covers. "Smell that?" I whispered, letting out a small chuckle as I sat one of the plates onto the sidetable next to your side of the bed.

Luna closed her eyes and tried to drift back to sleep as you stepped out of the room. Everything that happened in the last few days was more that she could've ever handled. She ran one hand across her chest, feeling it going up and down slowly. If that meant anything, she had gained a soulmate out of those terrible events... but she, as a devotee of Selune, knew very well what had happened a couple nights ago. She felt slight goosebumps cover her skin at that thought, when the sudden realization that she had partecipated in something terrible started making its way into her mind. The flow of her thoughts was interrupted by a pleasant smell coming from the kitchen, followed by your steps and then some noises. She pulled down the bedsheets just a little, keeping them below her nose and giving you a look Mhm...
Abducted by the smell of her breakfast she got out of her refuge of sheets, sitting up on the bed. Thank you love.

It consists in bloody massacre and evil acts of large scale. The bigger the atrocity, the more Shar will be pleased and her grasp upon the lands grows. If that is what actually happened... we might have to deal with something very dangerous. And..."
He eyed Luna for a few seconds. "Someone of their cult might have been hearing that you've been Selune's avatar in the past. I would be cautious if I were you, they might be planning to do something more than just plotting to exterminate a tribe of orcs..."
