There is a 50% chance that you manage to hack the android's Intrusion Detection System. Of course you want to at least try to leave a backdoor for later in the game. Obviously, you will also reduce the Rational AI control, while you are at it. If your hack is successful, the impact on the Rational AI will be very significant. If you fail, then the impact will be much smaller.
