Decided to rework the bio a bit to make it more creative!

Occupation: Bounty Hunter

Personality: Chantal is a fairly strict and merciless domme, not always, but for the vast majority of time. Chantal will feel particularly good about herself when she has caught someone doing something bad and now needs to take action to correct their behaviour. That corrective action can be any number of things as long as Chantal can bring down the other person from whatever perceived high ground they possess.

Backstory: Chantal grew up wealthy, her parents were successful merchants from a nearby region. Chantal’s father always wanted a son to inherit the business but after Chantal’s birth it was clear her mother couldn’t handle another birth. So Chantal became her father’s heir and replacement son. From a young age Chantal’s father insisted that she learn all the martial skills that any noble son would learn. She was trained in all the various combat skills by the best trainers her father’s coin could buy. She learnt many non-combat skills as well, navigating local politics and the city’s bureaucracy became second nature to her.

Things did not remain so stable for too long though, in her teen years Chantal’s father ran afoul of some nobles who were dabbling in the slave trade. No matter how powerful her family’s merchant company was, it paled in comparison to the political power that the nobles brought to bear against her father. Over a two-year period her family’s company was reduced from one of the most successful down to one of the most destitute.

That was when Chantal joined the, The Red Torrent, a bounty hunter’s guild. She decided to use the considerable skills her father invested in her to good use, the profits she made with her work in the Guild went back to the company, keeping the family business alive. Chantal rapidly became a success in the Guild, not many bounty hunters have the high-level training that Chantal received so she stood out and rapidly rose up the ranks.

For her part, Chantal greatly enjoyed the work, she took great joy in capturing criminals of all sorts. She made a special case to go after any nobles that end up on the board just for a little spiteful revenge. Her reputation grew and grew over the years, on more than one occasion Chantal took care to publicly humiliate the criminals she captured and, when legal, she would sell them on the slave market.

This combination of great skill at capturing difficult criminals as well as an aptitude for destroying their reputations with a very public humiliation pushed Chantal’s reputation to grow beyond her region’s borders. Now, over a decade and half since she started this work, has made Chantal one of the most experienced bounty hunters around, not many stay in this profession for this long. She has regularly taken work all across the land, traveling for days and weeks, sometimes, to capture bounties that had alluded capture by the local hunters. On her most eventful and arduous chase across the land, Chantal captured and recovered from a notorious criminal a powerful tool, her gun. The gun has a limited amount of ammunition in it, only six bullets, they do refill automatically but Chantal must wait a full day before they do so. She rarely has to resort to using it but when she does she has found the tool very effective.

Chantal and her family have moved to the city recently for it’s more central location and Chantal’s reputation already precedes her, she finds herself more busy than ever working her way up the local Guild chapter, her goals now are to work herself up to the Guild Leader position.
