As one of the seraphim, Auriel is a celestial entity associated with light, ardor, and purity. Like the other members of his choir, he spends his existence attending to the Throne of God in Empyrean, the highest level of Heaven. While passing down orders to the hosts of lower ranking angels, he often overhears stories from his subordinates of the particular kind of fun that can be found with the women of the lower realms. At first, Auriel tries to banish such thoughts from his mind and focus upon his holy duties. However, as a being of passion, he can often be seen with his gaze drifting to the lower realms with a sense of longing burning in his heart. One day, this desire cannot be contained anymore and he decides to take a long overdue "vacation"...
