Alexandria, Knight-Errant (3 级) mail warning

In a kingdom far away, a girl was born to noble parents. Raised to be valuable marrying stock, she nevertheless stuck more to her brothers, who were all learning to be knights or administrators of the realm. Due to being a girl, she wasn't allowed formal training for combat, but instead learned from a couple of her brothers, who were sympathetic to her wishes to be a knight, just like them. At the very least, she could learn about knightly conduct from the various books her family kept in their library, and she was allowed to learn some magic for self-defence.

Eventually, the day came when she was meant to be married off. Not wanting to be a pawn in some scheme, virtually only meant to be seen and have the babies of some arrogant noble twice her age, she stole some equipment from her family's armoury with the help of one of her younger brothers, and ran off. Now she wanders wherever her legs will take her, calling herself a "knight-errant," a questing knight, to justify her continued knightly ambition. While she has the noble blood traditionally found in knights, she doubts her family will recognise her as one. She doesn't even have a horse. Now, she can only hope to return home once her father is off the throne and one of her brothers take over and hopefully forgive her for running off...

That story is about me, of course! But don't worry, so long as I can fight villains, rescue those in need, and maybe acquire a trusty steed, I'll be able to prove myself a valiant knight yet!
