The wind howls, the night is still long on the Sun Shrine since it's sun is dying. You enter the house, the floor creaking, the lights off. It is weird, too weird. Your voice fades into the silence of the temple, the cold moon watching from the window, silent as well. Step after step into the house, everything is still in place, but for sure somebody was here. The little cups of saké are on the table, untouched, along with the bottle of this fine rice wine. On the floor, a little emergency kit, a little roll of bandage and some towels. On a closer inspection it seems that some rags of a fine fabric have been ripped and tossed on the couch. That's all for the main room, no other clue of what could have happened here.

You keep searching around inside the house, and find the bathroom door open. Inside, a tub of water, that is still boiling hot. Two of the stools have been moved to a side of the room. The condense has formed the shape of two tiny feet on one, and a large bottom on the other. Two towels are there, one of them still wet and covered in little bubbles of soap. There is water on the floor, lots of water. One of the two stools is upside down while the other is up. Next to them you can find some drops of another kind of liquid, similar to water, maybe it's just sweat, or maybe it's something else. There are tiny drops of blood as well. There are watery footprints, way bigger than you would expect, but they stop at some point of the room, covered by some other traces less identifiable. Some of Sunny's hair is there on the floor, right at the entrance of the room. No more clues in this room, but where could they have gone from this point? There's two separate ways to choose, Sunny's bedroom or the entrance to the inner chamber of the Shrine.

The inner chamber is more humble, as Sunny asked to the constructors of her home. There are many statues of her deity, the fox Goddess Inari, all turned towards the east, where the sun rises, as a little intended prayer. There are little wooden statues too, they seem to have been touched. One of them is on the floor, coated in some weird fluid, that you have learned to recognize from how many times you have had to clean it. It's indeed something from Sunny's body. Another little idol is on the altar, covered in a far more terrifying liquid: blood. You pick it up, it is still warm, almost smoking. A strange coat of vapor is all around the room, and it is not incense. The backdoor that goes to the garden is wide open, moving a little due to the wind. The room is empty, Sunny is not here either. One last thing you notice is that there are very tiny drops of water on the floor. Must be tears.
