Inscribed over the doors is a simple motto: The best stories are told with others to others.

With live music, a series of regular DJ's and musical acts, and a focus on sex fighting, the Empress Club is one of the hottest spots in L.A. We offer a variety of dance floors, a fully-stocked bar and restaurant, and multiple dance floors, booths, and private rooms. However, the club's main draw comes from the various wrestling rings scattered about, including the largest, an octagonal ring in the center of the main dance floor. Every night, a variety of trained fighters on staff, guest wrestlers, and random club goers who're feeling particularly bold, step into the ring, the bedroom, or even the back alley for sexfights of all sorts: Boxing, Wrestling, or more sensual encounters. The audience is encouraged to get in on the action as well, cheering on their favorite fighters, tagging in if a chance comes, and even buying the club specialty, a "bonus round": buy a round for the whole club/bar, and a competitor of your choice gets a tag partner for sixty seconds to amp up the action.

We offer private rooms, private rings, full locker rooms, hot tubs, and all the amenities sexfighters and fans could want. For those after a grittier, more underground kind of fight, the basement has many rooms, some forgotten about, perfect for dark, steamy, and heated encounters. There's also "The Dungeon," our Cage Match ring with assorted VIP rooms around it for watching. And for the biggest, hottest matches, our rooftop has been converted into the Skyline Arena- a large area with seating, a fully-stocked bar, a complete covering of one-way glass that allows guests to see the gorgeous L.A. skyline...and a ring in the center for the hottest matches.

The decor is an interesting mix...dark spaces and thrumming music, comfortable seating, friendly and attentive waitstaff (all dressed in rocking onepiece wrestling outfits) and an overall atmosphere of ramping tension. But for those preferring a more...intimate venue, or some respite from the action, throughout are quieter spaces, often well-lit and displaying posters, viewing screens showing past and ongoing matches, and photos of previous matches and wrestling luminaries.

There's a whole section of "victory shots" of famous matches that occurred within the club, including one not too long after opening between Shaniqua Robbins and Alyss Jameson.

[The Empress Club began as the setting for a match with one of the best RPers I know, and has grown from there- a setting for some stories, and a driving force for others, with faces and memories born from that. Inspired by amazing communities/leagues like T.W.A.T., EFCW, and others as well, I wanted to create a space for people to come together and tell linked stories, and to share tales. So whether you need somewhere to take a special someone for a wild night, a backdrop for a match you've been excited for, or somewhere to go looking for new stories or dance partners, we encourage you to use this as a starting point to tell awesome stories. And I open it up on occasion as a room to hang out in, too.]

[Disclaimer: We don't set up matches, per say. You're encouraged to message the people on here and ask for messages yourself, but you don't even need to be on the profile to have a match here. It's as simple as "Hey, want to have our match at the Empress Club?" "Sure. I'll report the results to EC." You've got to do the scary part of messaging them yourself. Be brave. It might pay off big.]

Drinks:
Most anything one could get in a club or restaurant is available, alcoholic and non-alcoholic. However, some matches and fighters led to the advent of a few house specialty cocktails and drinks.

Ebony Aphrodite: A hot mix of dark mocha and hot chocolate, available in alcoholic and non-alcoholic varieties

Year of The Dragon: The house lemonade over a round ice cube, a splash of fresh-squeezed lime and lemon juice, a crazy straw, an umbrella, and two cherries on linked stems hanging from the straw. Alcoholic version adds a splash of vodka.

Sweet Defeat: A traditional old fashioned, made with a sugar cube, water, bitters, Jameson whiskey, alcohol-infused cherries, a lime peel twist, and served with a whiskey stone instead of ice.

The Blue Banner: Vodka, coconut rum, pineapple juice, simple syrup, and blue curacao, with a circular pineapple slice as a garnish and a small blue flag.

The All-Night Fight: An iced expresso blended with a generous helping of golden rum, coffee liquor.
