First Meeting in the Shadow Manor - Part 3

She looks at you

"Sure, she looks a bit lost, join us when you're done. But please Nagusa don't worry, I'll explain everything.""

She sits back down at her place, puffing as she looks at you.

"I guess that you havce a lot of questions in your mind, insn't it?"

"Well, exactly. You must know that there are many different kinds of cursed swords. Some are the vessel for a soul, either from a demon or any kind of more or less malevolent creature, and they have a consciousness. Some are just weapons that put some curse on the wearer. But other are... intricate in their functioning."

She looks at you, a little smirk on the lips.

"Now, for reasons that belong to me, I looked for different kind of these swords, to finally bring one of it from a strange world I visited. The problem though was that this kind of sword is somehow human. Or at least was."

"See when a girl takes one of those swords, she's compeled to murder people, and particularely men, in order to feed the sword with energy. But in the end the girl and the sword end up fusionning. The girl becomes herself a cursed sword, than can enter in contact with another living being to curse."

She takes a sip of tea, thinking a bit.

"Well, I'm not sure. I met her when she already merged with the sword. She tried to kill me, and I manage in extremis to knock her out with Aëlynn's help. All I can guess is that by the way she was fighting, she was a good swordsman before, maybe a soldier, an adventurer of some sort. I don't really know as since then I couldn't have a discussion with her."

"Exactly..."

She puffs

"Don't worry about it, my problem isn't here. An old friend of mine, helped me create an enchanted scabbard which until now served as a seal. The problem is that o month ago, it broke."

She sighs

"Then Aëlynn and I managed to seal her again, but with our little knowledge in the matter. So now, she's just asleep, weakened, and we need to feed her with energy from now and then."

"I'm pretty familiar with the issue of being tied to a need of energy feed. That is something we can easily deal with."

She smiles

"Look, I'm not really sure you can do anything for me in this story dear, but my main issue here is to restore that poor girl's free will. I won't lie to you saying that I don't want a powerful ally, but honestly I mainly want to help her."

"I have done searches, and there is no way to separates the girl from the sword anymore. So if I can find a way su suppress her bloodthurst without putting a man's life at risk..."

"Hmm, for what I know, this is like hunger, it comes with time. And there are only two ways I know to end it. Either feeding her, or pray for her to fall in love with a man that will satisfy her..."

She smirks

"... sexually."

"Sadly yes, and form what I heared, she must chose him. He becomes somehow his scabbard if I may say. And her urges to kill transform into sexual urges, as long as he manage to satisfy her."

"Human, elf, kitsune,... I'm not sure, but I think that as long as it's a male she fall in love with, that will do it."

She smiles lewdly

"I may know someone too, but she definitly has to choose and recognize him as sort of her husband, or she will jsut try to rape and kill him. As for that function, I really have no idea."

She frowns as Aëlynn reminds her the facts, "Yes, you're right, and that's why I'll still ask Roma for help.""

She grumbles, puffing hard on her pipe as Aëlynn speaks

"But we wanted to ask you too, since you're in touch with other kinds of forces and knowledges that are unknown to us."

She sighs

"I know, and we are not very confident for now. But in any case, she will end breacking the actual seal that keeps her asleep. And the consequences wil be the same as if we fail with the new one or with a man."

She takes a serious look.

"We will have to fight her again, and maybe this time we will have to kill her to avoid her to kill anyone."

"Hmm, maybe a month."

"Oh yes, of course!"

She gets up, "Excuse me Nagusa, I will leave you two a moment"

And she disappears herself in the room.

She appears from the shadows and takes a sit back in the armchair she left.

"WE are not used to mail box Aëlynn!"

She nods and smiles, panting slightly, "Sorry, if it took me too long, she's becomeing quite thirsty."

She sighs, "Well, maybe... but the classical ways of traveling are so borring though..."

"Sorry if I afraid you last time Nagusa."

"Of course, even though Roma is already aware of our little problem. He just doesn't know all the details."

"Please Nagusa, feel yourself at home here, no need to be so formal."

She smiles.

With a large smile, Kyraël appears, floating in the air, "That will be so much fun!!"
