The end of the Shrine (part II)

Summary part 1: Informed of a mysterious fire in the woods in his lands, Romantic goes to investigate what is happening. Before he can reach the fire, he met a young kitsune, chased by a platoon of some armed men. Romantic faces the hunters and discover that they are slavers and they bought the kitsune from some bandits that had destroyed her home some days before. Romantic accepts to pay the men for the life of the kitsune and take her to his mansion to give her medical care. While the kitsune is recovering she tells him that she is named Nagusa and that she was the custodian of a shrine in the woods, where she lived with her daughter Kiuko. Since her daughter has gone missing during the attack of the bandits, Romantic promises her to send his guards to look for her, while she rests and recovers her strength...
