I looked up over the pile of paperwork at my massively overstocked desk. Casefiles stacked up several feet high surrounding me as I looked through my staff. I waved a hand, the breeze coming through the windows shifting to pick up a few files and drop them in my hands. "Okay, let me get this straight. I moved to get out of all the word situations new York has to offer, and I stumble across the only city in the world with fairy dragons, demons, angels, and other such beings..." I put my head in my hands, looking at my secretary.

The actual fucking Strigoi that was currently fixing me a fresh cup of coffee smiled, waving her fingers at me as she moved to my desk, handing the hit mug of mud to me. I took it happily taking a sip as I nodded. She smiled, patting me on the head. "Well sleuth, you're not the first to think that. Don't worry, you'll find your place."

The sigh that escapes isn't angry, more resigned as my fingers traces my collar. "I'm not worried about that, I'm more worried about where that place is ending up..." The office kept moving, the phone ar the front rang, and I opened the file on my lap. "But can't dwell on that to much. Now, let's figure more out about old ones... and these fucking collars..."

Case 1: The Curious Collar

When I came into this city the first thing that happened was me getting jumped. I know, pathetic. But I woke up w8th a collar around my neck and bundled up in a new coat. After pulling on some leads and getting psychic ads shoved into my skull I managed to trap the cultlprit to some lady named Bia... our introductions... happened. Look, I may have agreed to be hers... it made sense in the moment! At least... I hope so... We'll meet again soon, and maybe I'll get to the bottom of this without excessive magical tomfoolery...

Case 2: Two Woman Wolfpack

I was hired to stop a thief who had been stealing.Knick Knacks around town. She had been leaving money, and after a few few days of tracking I finally got her c o rnered in a warehouse. After a bit of flirting and negotiating I finally got her to agree to.let me work with her, as she was trying to break up a weapons ring. I took her back to.my office and... well... look let's just say she took a very nice nap after I got her settled in. When she wakes up we'll figure out a plan to stop those weapons...
