Datura Nightshade, bodyguard, sex slave, maid, and gun for hire with a very… unique set of clauses.
“I reserve the right to quit if I’m unsatisfied with how our arrangement is going, fair warning, most people from whom I quit tend to die.”
She’s been in the business a couple centuries now, with a tendency to be aggressively upfront about her desires but then act like a total tsun anyways.
Right now in particular, she is in the service of Adrian Edge, The PIC and will remain as such for the foreseeable future. Though her slave crest brand of servitude has
But on the topic of the business, what can she do?
Datura is talented, no prodigy, but certainly talented. She was gifted with a rare magic archetype, time magic. Her affinity only minor, but still more than the none that most people get. Of course, a minor affinity isn’t enough on its own to specialize purely in that magic style as a mage, so Datura created and honed something she has dubbed:
“Nightshade arts”
Nightshade Arts
The Nightshade arts are a specialized style of combat that weave in her mostly support and minor defense capabilities from her time affinity with severe physical training and martial knowledge to perform at an even higher capacity. Her most common and known technique is “Nightshade Art: Bridge.” This being because she uses it for her maid duties as much as she does anything else. She bridges herself off into several timelines, effectively cloning herself and allowing her to function as a team with very slightly different versions of herself. Efficient in terms of household chores, which, speaking of; she can’t help but do with unnecessary flair.
But how about a short list of real applications for this. I mean obviously having a centuries hone style of time magic has its own benefits, right?
The different Nightshade Arts
Datura has six points to spend in a game
- Bridge: Threesome/audience participation actions result in contested rolls as Datura clones herself to help. Both players roll a d6, if Datura is higher the other player skips one turn. This costs three points.
- Tempo: Datura hastens herself. She can use this to either accelerate the rate at which she breaks from hypnosis or bondage. Spend one point a turn to escape roll twice a turn for while in bondage or hypno.
- Reflex: Datura hastens her perception of time to allow for her to process and calculate her actions more. Spend three points to identify a weakspot, all corresponding actions on that weakspot result in a skip of the opponent.
- Loop: The opponent is locked in chronostasis, repeating an action but not replenishing their stamina in the process. On a CT, Datura can loop an opponent. The opponent must roll a d4, and are stunned for that many times after a ct. Drains points corresponding to the roll, ends early if points are insufficient.
Datura may learn new applications of Nightshade Arts as she optimizes it for the less... bloody battles of EF city.
The Elf's Attire
In terms of serving the master of whatever house she is employed under, she’s actually a little bit of fun. Whether from stoic sarcasm or for silly jokes molded based on the personality of her lord. Her favorite one being, “I’ve made you a snack.”
She can’t even hide her smile when she does that one.
Attire wise, when she isn’t in a maid outfit she wears a checkered dress with black underwear that almost looks like an upper bodysuit, the dress actually comes on something like a jacket over her shoulders, closing slightly at the front which provides the bodysuit appearance. Should her black undergarments have been just a normal bra, it would be like she was walking around with her bra just openly displayed.
But again, it isn’t a bodysuit. It is actually just black underwear, sleek and skintight.
Sometimes she alternates the dress to a jacket with a similar appearance, that she can let down from her shoulders as she pleases.
The Elf Herself
Datura is, save for her Master, a very reserved person. Though lately her inner circle has expanded enough to have room for juuust one more person whom she gets very firey in the presence of.
Contrary to how she acts and behaves, Datura does have her own hobbies and pasttimes that aren't martial arts or following around Adrian everywhere. Though she'd never admit to them, and as such you'd have to see her partaking in them yourself. A rare and sparingly indulged sight.

Alyce, Friend and Rival
This green haired devil was initially just a prospect for Datura's own teasing and jesting. The elf was and is very prideful, and she took some enjoyment from poking fun at people to get reactions out of them. Most people she had run into in the city just got upset and pouty from being made fun of. But the melon with the big melons was a spitfire. One of the first people to actually shoot back. Every time the girls ran into each other a back and forth was almost guaranteed to ensue. That emotion came to a bit of a boiling point, eventually, and the two girls challenged each other to back up their words. And, despite all her bravado and confidence, Datura lost. Rumor says their's a photo somewhere with Alyce leaning over the elf, who's face was wracked with ecstasy from a fierce orgasm. But that's probably just a rumor.
Datura, however, did not mellow out following being humbled. In fact, she became laser focused on getting some revenge. So when Alyce accidentally stumbled into her private dojo on a run, and a storm kept them both inside... Datura took the opportunity to return the favor.
The second bout was closer, but Datura came out on top... And she was also much less sportsmanlike about it... Though, now knowing that she could beat Alyce, the shift in her perspective of the girl finally started. They'd have small little back and forths since then, and some deeper conversations too. Datura was less snappy at strangers or mere acquaintances, though her high regard for herself did not change. But she also didn't see herself as clearly better than Alyce. Alyce was, to her, elevated now. To that of an equal. Her magic, albeit limited, was a noteworthy trick that greatly reduced Datura's own abilities, and forced the elf onto her playing field.
So when she lost access to that magic, Datura was frusturated. Even moreso when she made no apparent attempt to recover it. A conversation isolated from the normal flow of time ensued, and Datura vowed to help Alyce get her magic back. She wasn't going to let her rival suddenly step down when they were neck in neck in the race Datura had them envisioned in.
So she took Alyce with her on one of her business ventures. Routinely clearing out dungeons was something Datura regularly did. So she decided to take Alyce with. She had a theory, that the girl didn't lose her magic, just her conduit. So she was going to train Alyce the same way she was trained to become her own conduit, throwing her into the deep end. Datura was there to lend a helping hand when necessarry... but the situation spiraled out of control regardless. What should have been easy... became a long ordeal.

Some progress, through the struggle, did present itself. Datura's hypothesis was proven right if anything else. Now it was just a matter of determining the next steps.

Proctor's Notes: "Despite lower prerequisites than her fellow ⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛, Subject D displays great amounts of creativity and adaptability. Her field of magic, while weak in potency is strong on its own, and she more than makes up for it with her application. Subject D is not the greatest prospect among ⬛⬛⬛ ⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛, but she does show promise. Reccomend further ⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛ and ⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛, most importantly she should receive ⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛ for further ⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛ if possible. Even if she is not chosen as final candidate, reccomend withholding from the study program. While further research into artificial magic using ⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛ for a magic as strong as time, her compliance and general aptitude will provide us with good funds if we relegate her to ⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛ at the ⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛ after she flunks out of the program. Her ⬛⬛⬛⬛ is also well suited for ⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛ and more ⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛ treatment.
