Hello everyone.
We are delighted to be opening The Wrestling Ring signups for 2024 today. TWR is an extremely fun, tactical and competitive mode that brings some of our best players out. With multiple factions dedicated on the site to it, we are delighted to be able to continue our now yearly tradition of having this tournament.
Please see all details below to ensure your are eligible and that you have read the rules also.
Registration:
16 Players (8 male, 8 female).

To register, post a link of the character you will be competing as.

At least 10 games played in The Wrestling Ring

A character created at least 3 months ago.

You may submit a fresh character provided that you can produce a character of yours that has 10 TWR games and have existed for at least 3 months.

If we get more than 16 registrations, we will consider expanding the tournament into a 32-player format.

Participants will be decided via lottery.

Participants not selected will be ordered as reserves. Any reserve not called up to compete will receive a wildcard, guaranteed entry, to a future tournament of their choice.

Entry will remain open until we have 8 male and 8 female characters and for 72 hours afterwards.
Match Rules

Match logs must be turned on.

All match logs must be posted in the tournament-logs thread here: https://www.erofights.com/forum/match-related/tournament-logs

All matches must be played in public.

RP is mandatory.

The preference system for actions must be disabled.

No playing in fast or slow mode (normal mode only)

Skipping your turn is not allowed (redrawing your actions is fine).

Failure to adhere to all rules will result in instant disqualification and a year's ban from future tournaments, as well as a ban for next year's LWR tournament.
The winner will get:
- 150 EF coins
- A free Signature move for The Wrestling Ring
- A winner's badge.
Tournament Rules
-8 teams of 2 (1 male, 1 female), randomly chosen.
Round 1:

2 teams play each other.

The agreed match time must be posted in the tournament thread on the Forum and / or the tournament logs channel on Discord.

2 heterosexual matches in The Wrestling Ring mode.

The match must be titled in this format <TWR Tournament 2023: player A vs player b>

Team with the most number of wins advances.

In the event of a tie, winning player with the least amount of turns to victory determines who contests the tiebreaker.

4 teams eliminated, with 4 others advancing.
Round 2:

Round 1 rules apply.

2 teams will be eliminated, with 2 teams going to the final.
